Thank you so much for going the extra mile in each video. It would be easier NOT to do drone footage, or NOT to show as much detail, but doing all that is exactly why your videos are so successful and professional. Setting up the camera multiple times to get different views of things is just another way your work ethic shows. And MY work ethic is inspired as a result. :)

When you have someone working with you that has as much excitement as you do it makes it all the more fun. I know a lot of us have spouses that while tolerant, aren't nearly as excited as we are for spring. Its so fun to see it in both of you, and inspires me all the more. I know that Laura is the main one I watch, but Aaron is a key component and I really like it when he is involved with projects and has such a great disposition about it all. Makes me smile.

I just spread the compost on top of my raised beds without disturbing the soil below...I tried it both ways & the no dig way had much healthier plants (even without the extra fertilizer)...The worms do all the work for you...And for Laura: It's alright if things don't look perfect...stop stressing yourself about it. God Bless Y'all.

    • @CookiesAndCosmos

I respect your opinion, and I've seen "no till" gardens with great results, but I feel like Laura is as good at what she does because she is the way she is. She isn't afraid to work (I'm not saying others are). Having straight lines and such is what makes her feel peaceful and happy. I would say she has a pretty good track record of having healthy plants. What she does seems to work for her in her area and I think she is REALLY enjoying the process this year. Sounds like you have a really good set-up for your garden. Hope you have a great year for gardening.

I have really clay soil and used to think it would just not be possible for my plants to thrive if I didn't till, but Stopping tilling was the best decision I ever made! I did it out of not having a tiller one year and I AM A BELIEVER! Lol! I was tilling for years and adding so much compost but within a week it was like I hadn't done anything. Every thing compacted back down & it was like I didn't add any compost... but adding a little compost each year & leaving the compost on the top makes it so much easier for me when I am planting! Whether its transplants, seeds, whatever- the compost is so easy to dig into! But the drone footage of it being tilled was satisfying! 😂

Laura I want to thank you so much for this demonstration. I have had so many problems with days ridiculous. And with this demonstration I do believe I will not fail again. I watch the first demonstration how to grease Oak the process of soaking how long Etc. And now I have the full process in which demonstration one and then demonstration to planting them. I cannot thank you enough these are one of my favorite plants and now I will be successful and planting them. Again thank you so very much. Absolutely love your channel and all that you do. It's wonderful to have someone that gives demonstrations in such a pleasant way. You are an amazing person and the way that you do this and your personality is wonderful in that it brings us back every time. I was speaking with my aunt a few months back and found out that she watches you as well. I found that to be amazing. The point being is that it's your delivery and your knowledge that bring people all around the world that enjoy what you do as well as how you do it. So once again thank you very much, we must think Aaron and little Benjamin. Little Benjamin is getting big enough to help in the garden and it's such a pleasure to see him ride along with his mom and dad.

Looking forward to watching content as the season unfolds. Best wishes on this years growing season. As a side-note, I’ve left leaves on my planting beds in fall and add compost and mulch on top. As the snow melts or rain falls, gravity pulls nutrients down to enhance soil for the growing season, and feeds beneficial insects in spring as the ground thaws. This is what I see nature does so I’m attempting to copy it.

    • @Edu_Kate

That's a great tip. I have 8 bags of last season's leaves currently placed on the south side of root balls of shrubs I planted last year to protect them from freeze/thaw cycle. I was wondering if I needed to get a shredder and work them into the soil. I like your idea better. Work smarter, not harder. 😁

I have a SERIOUS case of Spring Fever now!!! I am currently in my Florida home....starting a new seawall and landscaping project here. Laura, I love watching your videos and seeing the progress of all the projects during the year. I envy you and Aaron getting to do these projects as a full-time job. I know it takes a lot of time and hard work! I'm a weekend warrior myself and that can be tiresome, but I try to do small things after work during the week to get more things done. Like everyone watching, I'm itching to plant my garden!! Thank you for all your videos - I've learned a lot from them.

Fun times getting to plan out your new space. The only difference between men and boys are the price of their toys!!! Aaron is loving his toys!!! Happy Day! 💕☀️🌷🌳

Laura so excited about your plans for the flower garden, but I think the size of the fountain is the perfect size just for the water basin. I mean if you're planning to plant around it then that will take up more space. Will be beautiful! We all can't wait! Well God bless! Stay safe and remember to be kind for we are all human. Bye!

There are always so many big things, and so many little details you guys need to accomplish every day, let alone your daily responsibilities as parents. I have a small garden space compared to you. How do you determine what to do first? When to walk away, knowing you just don't have time, or want to take time away from other responsibilities you have? I feel overwhelmed at times with so much to do, and you always seem to handle yourself so well. Any advice on how you balance your daily life in the garden and as a Mom and Dad? Thanks Laura 🌸

She’s talked many times about how they ‘zone’ their garden and assign each zone a day. They also have a lot of help. Do what you can do, and what’s manageable for *you*.

Oh my goodness; your "Park" (the new property) is looking so good. I am SO excited to see it this summer!!! Thanks for all of your hard work! 💪= 🌼 & 😀 Your Dad's comment about Benjamin's footprints and tulips was spoken by a Grandpa with a true gardeners heart. Two of his great loves come together.🌷💙🌷

Amazing what the right equipment can do. Mindless but the tiller makes the job so much easier. I like your dad's bulb idea. It would be cute to see Benjamin's footsteps pathway all around. Russell is supervising Laura! Supervising! Too cute!

Laura and Aaron, I love being able to watch your vision come to life! Thank you for making these wonderful videos, so we can enjoy the process right along with you. With all of the projects you guys have going on this year, I can imagine it all coming together and hitting the fan all at once. Hold on to your hats because it's going to be a fast and furious wild ride! I always enjoy seeing the drone shots. Those overhead views provide us with a great perspective.
