Geo Prizm Starter Nightmare/ Intake removal!

I removed my starter from a 1996 Prism from the bottom without removing any thing else. Once the bolts are loose someone can hold it in place until you are ready to wriggle it out. I does come out around the driveline.

how long did it take you? did you buy a new starter or a repair kit

1 hour I guess - I replaced with an aftermarket starter. That included getting my helper engaged.

Took me 3 hours in total with added bonus of a new intake gasket!

93 prism starter removes from bottom done it twice .have removed intake for head freeze plug replace nasty job.

You remove it's from the bottom

anyway you could send me pictures of the egr valve and the hose alignments lol
