I grew up with Thomas and the Magic Railroad and Calling All Engines. And I love them both. Mind you, for my ideal version of Calling All Engines, I would have James and Duck share the main role along with Thomas. The story that Kiefer Adams made was genius!
5:46 Diesel 10 might've forgotten what happened, but Pinchy certainly didn't. He must've tried jogging Diesel 10's memory by hitting him on his cab roof.
Also in my opinion the works was replaced by the Steamworks after season 12 and before hero of the rails but the adventure begins made the mistake of that
I also grew up with TATMR and CAE. The only issue with Calling All Engines is the learning segments. I think they should have taken them out and used the deleted scenes. I also think Diesel 10 was much better as a good guy in Calling All Engines than he was in Day Of The Diesels because in Day Of The Diesels they did basically the same thing again and this time i was wasn't happy with the decision. I didn't watch Magic Railroad and Calling All Engines until 2010, and i loved watching them so much
@@seankemether6750 Another thing I like about CAE is that handles the Steam Vs Diesel conflict better than DOTD. The stakes are also high in the film because no airport means no holiday makers which reduces the railway’s income causing it to go out of business. But yeah, the learning segments are the biggest issue for CAE. I would take them out and put the deleted scenes in their place. I would also add more characters to the movie.
@imrandarr1094 another thing that I love and works with CAE much better than DOTD is that there is no racism coming from Thomas since Thomas said a racist comment about diesels in DOTD and I'm glad that Diesel 10 redeemed at the end of Calling All Engines and since it was much better than DOTD because in DOTD he should have been sent away but he should have been a good guy more in the model era instead of the CGI era
So diesel 10 fell into the barge and came to the railway as unwelcome engine but he only ended up their because of his guilt chasing lady for the gold dust maybe that’s why the fat controller is cross with him. They repaired him and he worked on the scrapyard for many years.
Which is not part of the official main show since it's only a fan-made series, nothing else and not official canon. Diesel 10 did went back to his villainous ways in Day of the Diesels and The Missing Christmas Decorations after his second appearance. You should know that.
@@bluebellsforever With most things but not Diesel 10. If he appears more in the CGI series, fully back to his evil villainous character by Andrew Brenner's good writing which would fix the damage the poor writing of HIT and Miller eras has done on him. If TCC is a fan-made series and no more, that's it. I hope you understand this regardless of disagreements. Fan made content are never canon to official media. Remember that always. At least most fan content stays true to Diesel 10's true character as a evil diesel villain thus far for years and thankfully still does to this very day mostly.

When Magic Railroad came out i wasn't born yet but Calling All Engines came out the same year as me so i really grew up with it

So that’s why diesel 10 act like he grumpy but a help the airport in calling all engines
I can imagine that Diesel 10's thinking about what would he say to Splatter and Dodge when they next met
The sludge in the garbage barge caused diesel10’s claw to stop working
Also in my opinion the works was replaced by the Steamworks after season 12 and before hero of the rails but the adventure begins made the mistake of that
This is like Thomas and the magic railroad and calling all engines put together
@@robbycastelli6486 It’s supposed to be a story explaining what happened to Diesel 10 between the two films.

And that one extra engine is lady.
I think after calling all engines the diesels take diesel 10 to the dieselworks and make him their leader

I know what happened diesel 10 tried to destroy lady the magical steam engine
so why doesn't diesel 10 have no memory of chasing Thomas and lady or burnet stone or splatter and dodge like why ?
@@christinanaumann9733 It’s likely he passed out after falling off the Big Dipper and when he woke up, he had no memory of what happened.
And then this leads into the TTC where he got a redemption arc.
