I still haven’t gotten into the Ryobi 40v lineup, but I’ve been thinking about it. They have a lot of cool stuff in it.

Yo Clint! An 8ah bat ray? Now, that's real nass like! I have a few ryobi not ryobi 40v tools. They're very serious about that platform. Seriously. 💯

I bought the Ryobi 14" chainsaw a couple years ago and using only a 5ah 40v battery I took down and cut up a 20+ ft pine with zero issues! I was super impressed!

I've been considering a battery powered chain saw, and I already have a few Ryobi 40V tools- this is great. I'll be picking this one up real soon like!

This is product I could see myself owning, especially if I already have the Ryobi weed Wacker.

Thanks Clint. I'm on Ryobi (not Ryobi) 18v for the home workshop and Ego for OPE. Would love to see comparison with the Ego though I love the size of that bar on the Ryobi. That's... that's real Nass like!

For the love of God please put on some chainsaw chaps I've got 117 stitches in my leg as a result of not wearing my chaps and I've been a professional operator for 20 years

I never thought I'd be impressed with a bat. Operated chainsaw, but that impressed me

I've been so impressed with my 40V 14" Ryobi. I just bought the 40V 12" top handle and am impressed with both. So much easier to use than the 450Husqvarna I bought. Yes I'm an occasional user but that matters. Only concern I have is the reliability of the batteries. I have a lot of 40V tools but I have concerns with the amount of money I've spent on batteries.

  • @Nibbles021

Honestly I’ve been helping out a friends neighbor and he has the ryobi 18 volt line but I was looking into a weed wacker so I went with ryobi 40 volt line and I own a sthil 25 inch chainsaw for cutting down eucalyptus trees and looking into getting a 20 inch ryobi chainsaw since I own ryobi battery backpack and a few 40 volt tools from ryobi.

I want to get my hands on the new 14"HP

  • @danbates6285

I'm really considering getting the Ryobi chainsaw, everything that I've been hearing is that it's the real deal. Just remember the bigger the chips the sharper the chain. Just my opinion but one of the things I like is the chain adjustment old school I guess

Can you do a comparison with the EGO's 18inch electric chainsaw?
