I run a company myself and we have vans trucks ect. It turns out I love my near half a million mile (small hatchback) matrix! I do use clear totes so i can see whats inside and built rear sliders for it. Since its a work rig its plywood 1x6's bolted to cargo hooks on slides where you can pull the tray out back. Stuff like this cost around 200 bucks to make and its rattle canned black but nice to pull the entire assembly out back for easy access. I did put colored vinyl over the rear windows for theft issues mounted more sliding rails on the side window area above the other platform. If thats a work only rig you can avoid downstacking suff by making a nice setup that slides out or uses every inch of space for materals.

I am down in OC. I've been in this business since 79'. I always work on traveling lighter. I work out of an 8' bed F150. There is nothing worse than not having the right tool when you need it on a job and it is at home in the shop.

Good video, I would be interested in a deeper dive into your plastic bins, I’m always tweaking what I carry with me and it’s fun to see how others do it.
