This young lady has her act together a great athlete,humble with her success,notice when she finishes a race she goes immediately to her parents.
She is an honors student,plays hockey,always recognizes her team especially on the relays. Congratulates the other runners as they cross the finish line.
She will be a success no matter what she does.
Congrats Katelyn. I must say, however, any lady or guy that runs short or long distance track, is a winner! Good for all of you.

Not much the other girls can do when she runs the first 800 of a 1500 in 2:20. At that point you just kind of say, "guess we're racing for the number 2 spot".
She had that race won at 200 meters.
She is not racing against the other runners in the race , She is competing with past best runners in the World !

She has the potential to be like or better than 1980's Mary Decker Slaney. When she gets to the college level she will have to push herself much harder. With the right coaching and training she reach Olympic level.

she hasnt had knee surgery. stop believing rumors and lies. they just havent run her this year because why would they when your team is loaded to the gills with talent and the season is blown up anyway because of covid. so they let her and Starliper rest. get over nagging stuff. but she'll be back.
