Hey man! I have a 2004 FX45 and when I put the fan on 2 -3 it’s good. If I go to 4 , the car starts to idle funny and any higher the fan shuts off & cuts all power to the car. When I bought it , it was good no issues then a couple weeks after getting my alternator replaced it started this. So would those be signs of a bad blower motor ?
Honestly I'm not sure have u had your battery checked? It almost sounds like a voltage issue u could test with multimeter. Connect to your battery and see what the voltage is at before turning the fan on then turn the fan on and see what the voltage drops too
@@BlackWidowdetailing yep I change the battery when I did the alternator and after I did all that it was good and then it just started acting up I also tested it with a voltage metre and I believe it was dropping but I can’t remember it was a few months ago.
there is a tag on the fan motor I bought that requires the ecu codes to be cleared and the negative on battery to be disconnected or it will damage the new unit....and void warranty. Have you experienced failure due to this omission of procedure?
To be honest I never heard of it or had a problem with it. It's always a good idea to disconnect the negative on the battery tho and u can clear the codes yourself with a cheap obd scanner from oriellys
More than likely because the 2 cars are almost identical! But to be honest idk forsure but if the interior looks the same as mine or close then it's probably in the same location and it's pretty simple to change
these infinity are bad when they get old parts are expensive and the interior sucks the leather seats rip and tear the dash bubbles the buttons for heated seats sink in the drive shaft will crack your bellhousing of the transmission with out warning gas guzzler roofs tend to leak when it rains the muffler system is expensive and they rust alote sell them b4 150k miles not worth the headaches

Just burned out my motor by spray ac cleaner into the duct by the battery 🤦🏽♂️. Luckily it seems pretty easy to replace.
Thanks alot
Going forward, I recommend when replacing parts to provide a link for where you purchased the replacement part(s), Napa, Auto Zone, Ebay, Dealer, etc.
Thanks for the tip I definitely will from here on out. I believe with this 1 I picked it up from oriellys

@@matthewd1995 Yeah I'm really not sure then id check some forums on Google and see if anyone has had those problems
Is that aftermarket or dealer blower motor? Is it noisy?

I have an fx35 2006 when I turn on the ac it sounds like a helicopter inside the Glove compartment
Sounds like the ac fan may need to be replaced not sure but the blades may be off balance and hitting something
Is this the same for the 2008 EX35?

Airflow is down for this filter.
Does anyone knows where the blower motor resistor is located?
I'm trying to figure out the same thing
Face reveal at 200 subs?
