Spider-Man and Peter Parker have been one of my favorite hero’s, and characters for pretty much most of my life- and also, as a bisexual guy myself.. honestly it just would have been nice to see such an iconic beloved character struggle with something as complex as sexuality. It just would have been great to have that representation. I know it will probably never happen, but it would be such a cool direction to go with the character.

A person is a lot more then just there sexuality and a queer person is beyond whatever stereotypes society has about them (that goes for both people who want to fully express their queerness and also for people who want to just keep their queerness not as obvious) That goes for both fictional and real people. When a character is presented as queer, that queerness should be represented, but also it shouldn’t be all that a character is. Sexuality is only, as Andrew put beautifully, a small thread in the fabric of a person.
