👷🏻♂Note👷🏽♂: Konnichiwa everyone! Since we’ve been getting requests for longer episodes, we decided to upload longer edits too.
Hope you guys enjoy and let us know in the comments if you prefer longer episodes, or short but frequently updated episodes👍
Both formats work for me, as long as you keep the good vibes and great stories rolling 😁 The "trailer" was dope - perhaps you could also do some outtakes videos, since those short reactions are a lot of fun. Keep it up guys! "Nene, deja de juga con la pelota!" - it's even funnier that you would likely hear that absolutely anywhere in Argentina, even in an airport!
Yeah, I want to experience that cultural shock and "woah" moment! Thank you guys!
You guys are killing it! Always look forward to watching these videos!
Thank you for your support yo🙏
Hearing your stories makes me look forward to the day I’ll have my “whoa” introduction to Tokyo.
Also, the clip reel has me excited for what you guys have coming in the pipe, 5x5! 😜
Yeah! I’m looking forward to more. Been wondering how things led to where they are now. Getting to work on marvel stuff and tmnt. Hopefully you guys get an opportunity to talk about it!
I feel so blessed now to be taking my first trip to Japan in the era of smartphones and the internet! XD I'm aiming to go in December to go explore Comiket, and all the advice I've gotten was to fly into Haneda. Big cities stress me out as I've always been in smaller towns, like 200k people or less. A bit nervous about navigating big cities, though I lived in LA for about 5 months or so. That's about all the experience I have with a big metropolis city lol Thanks for sharing your experiences!
El jetlag!!! Fui an un onsen capsule hotel.
El holor a cigarrillo porque en el 4to piso fumaban...
El local de cuchillos y herramientas de Japanese steel!
La zona de los souvenirs y street vendors 😂
Lots of trains!!
The fishing ponds!!
Los cherry blossom 🌸
And no children...
Handsome boys!!!!
That trailer has all the stories! 😂 I can’t wait! 🎉🎉🎉
Haha yeah🤣Gotta edit mad footage😭
Ahhh, shit. That cultural appropriation episode is coming! You guys already seem passionate about it so I can’t wait! 😁
Yo! I would love to meet up with you guys in Japan one day!! I haven't seen Duck since SMC Japanese class around 03', and I haven't seen Felipe since 06' when I got my MBQ books.
YO! Long time no see! Hope everything is good on your end👍
Yeah man, 03'...was the year I was doing stuff in Japan. No wonder nobody saw me at SMC🤣
I think 20 mins is a good length to shoot for. Do you have any videos where you go into the differences btw Japan and the US ? And it could be anything, like paying bills or house cleaning products.
April 99 was just a couple months before I started working with Felipe hahaha
Damn🤣
And the rest is HISTORY! 😎😄
Ah c'mon Skytrain isn't THAT expensive all things considered, under 30 bucks for a direct ride from Narita to Tokyo Station is a sight better than a $200 cab ride from Chiba to Tokyo.
Also for feedback, I don't think there's any problem uploading longer videos of the whole recording, and then uploading short chunks of the whole thing until the next episode is up, TH-cam seems to be trending more and more towards long-form videos in-general, just indicate in the shorter videos if it's part of the longer podcast and link it in the description.
Also Felipe, we need stories about meeting famous manga-ka if you have any! Would love to hear stories about who these guys are with their guards down around "gaijin", just seeing photos from social media, Hisashi Eguchi and Otomo seem like they'd be fun to have late-night drinks with at a hole-in-the-wall izakaya and talk shop with.
Haha right. I was s kid, had no info, and very limited budget.
So, even $30 felt super expensive back then🤣
Also, thanks for the feedback! We'll keep that in mind👍
@DJ5DucK Yeah I get it, first time I came to Japan I definitely was a deer in the headlights for most of it, I'd walk for miles just to avoid getting turned around on the JR Line or subway. It wasn't until the end of my second time that I really felt like I mastered getting around on JR Line and Tokyo Metro.
@@RandomAccessDreams Oh word🤣We ALL walked for miles!
