    He won arguably the most significant All-Ireland title in Kerry's history in 1997, which ended the 11-year drought for an All-Ireland and set us up for a period of 12 years where we won 6 titles. Without Paidí, Kerry's success for the past decade would never have happened. A legendary player and manager, gone but not forgotten. RIP.

    a sad loss and a great legendary player who was as down to earth as the next man.i enjoyed the many times i met him in his pub in ceann tra,co. kerry when i was there on the gaeltacht in 1979.he will always be the king of kerry.RIP,big man,you'll be sadly missed :/
