Ask him for help as he starts to identify those areas where your life is Laden with pride. do not be shamed, Do not let condemnation from the devil stop you from changing. Moses was the most humble man in the world. Yes, he was angry; his sister Miriam just died and he was grieving for her. Also, it was not the spirit of pride which kept them wandering in the wilderness for 40 years, but the sin of the spies. That was their punishment for bringing back a bad report about the land of Israel and not trusting in God's promise.

Pride is tricky, sometimes it's boisterous but other times it's subtle. Aligning yourself with God's will is really hard but keep praying and listening to Him.

Or anger. Didnt he cussed them out after and called them rebels? The water out of the rock was supposed to symbolise Jesus Christ But Moses didnt do it the way God wanted it.
It wasn't that Moses just struck the rock, it was a misrepresentation of Christ, the Rock.
Jesus was struck, ONCE for all, for the sin of all. (Isaiah 53), not TWICE.
Through this Moses did not hallow the name of Yah, thus, distorting His prophetic promise regarding Jesus.

@@Entomology314 Yes it is, no matter what form of pride you feel, it's always about you. Say i make an example: You are proud of your kid. That means you feel happy because you led him to that exact moment, and even that small bit of pride about yourself is a sin. May peace be with you!

If you don’t feel good about any of your accomplishments and tell yourself you’re a horrible person, that can lead to severe depression. There is a thing of too much pride. It’s called narcissism. But if you are proud of your kid, there’s nothing wrong with that. It hurts no one.

That's why pride is a sin after all. In some cases it makes you think you are better than God. That's how Satan got Eve to eat the apple.
@@memetrain2702 Feeling good about yourself can be a good thing. Life is a balance between yourself and others. If you focus too much on yourself, you become blind to the needs of others. If you focus too much on others, you become blind to your own needs. It’s a balance. Tipping it to one side just creates misery.
