People who went to that meeting came from similar background. There are men who used to be road warriors, now in their late 40 or 50 years of age, gathered for re-union. There are also people from younger generations who love cars from 90s. This is the way they can be together without breaking a 11PM curfew, by start the meeting at 6AM and gone before 9. Before COVID times, they usually hang around a gas station on highway's rest area outbound to the north on Saturday night. And you are 100% correct about roads in Thailand. A 30cm-deep flood is usual even in downtown area. Hence, very few interested in lowering their cars to the minimum. That's why my Crown Royal has a ground clearance that will scare many crossovers.
Your wrong when you said the car meets made your TH-cam channel. Well for me at least anyway it's you as person, what ever video you put up is good to watch 👍.
Yep. Couldn't agree more. I think so far you've had a good variety of content coverage. Cars, life in Thailand, travel vlogs, product vlogs, live shows.
So... As I calculate, you're halfway to about six cars now Chad. Kudos for the consistent content. You seem timeless in your quest for SICK MOTORSPORTS! Thanks man, keep up the great work
I have to tell you I love the car stuff but the bike tour, island hoping, filming the night life getting to know the local spots is what drew me to your channel and what keeps me here and your a pretty cool guy that's very entertaining, a dude I could have a beer with and not worry about you stabbing me in the back. This is why I'm here and why I stay, the cars are just a bonus.
Well, as they say, better late than never! Glad to see you made it back to Bangkok safely. Thanks for getting up early and hitting the streets to bring us some content! Hope all is going well with you and look forward to the next video. Also can't wait to see what you do when you hit 100k subscribers. Cheers!
Dude i remember reading that issue of superstreet. My bro had the subscription. You'll be at 100k within a few weeks to a month....your channel is starting to blow up. Keep up the great content bro.
Hey man you nailed it again awesome cars that grey civic hatch 😍 Its really cool that they like the 90s in thailand i love the 90s and 00s were the 2 best decades ever i wish i can re live these awesome years again I'm liking Thailand more and more
DUDE!!!! 92.3K Subs at time i'm watching this upload! You've done a great job on building a community mate. Thanks for the great content. Also...I'm pushing for you for 250K subs, because i wanna see what wheels you get to celebrate? I know you mention the Jeep Rod & mini truck, but i wanna see how baller you make it!
Sharing it now! Def got some of thee absolutley best content on youtube and the fact ur real is such a rare thing with youtubers! Wish you were state side I'd love to have you shoot some of the cars we have wrapped
I’m an ex car guy. What drew me to your channel were the random videos of you showing out Thailand. Hope to see more of the tour videos as you advance your channel on this platform. Great work my guy!💯🇵🇷
ThaiLand does got some DOPEST FD3S - I got a 93 R1 FD3S VR! Chad, if I ever visit Thailand again, I'll surely hit you up for some of the Rotary visiting...Keep up the good work buddy!
That was excellent Yes they have some sweet rds And mate I m trying to think the last time I saw a pasao and not just a sweet one I think it was in the 90s Good to see the cars are coming out again Looks like lot more good content on its way 👍👍😍😍
the qualty of japanese cars was at its apex in the 90's and their relative simplicity made them easy to work on. I own 2 90's toyotas with over 200k miles and the engines are still going strong
I don't know why I think you need to know this, but, the last car I owned was a Volvo S60 AWD Turbo. Bought it new. It was the most impressive handling car I ever drove. I gave it to my daughter who still owns it back in Brooklyn. Best car ever.
My brother in law and his wife lives in Bangkok, just had their baby. Maybe someday after covid I can visit him. If you see him, send my regards lol. Johan from SA and he work for Oryx. Ps. We love cars and enjoy your videos
Heck yea! 💨💨 All the sick cars, even the euro's I was asking about. Thx bud, awesome stuff. 🙌🏻 Now go chill a couple days and get your things sorted. 😉
great to see the car videos back, although the bike tours are awesome also. I'm curious as to the junkyard scene there, how about a boneyard video? !!!
Although you said it on this video and I've been thinking that all along all the super cool JDM lowered stuff that they build there is beyond cool in my mind but like you said with the weather and the roads I'm surprised they don't all build giant 4x4s I can't even imagine what they would look like those guys have so much talent in Bangkok.
Dude no excitement over the sick Datsun 1200 at the end of your video!.. clean machine.. I built one in the 80's that was pretty cool until I rolled it 6 times.. 🤣😂
We got the FN2 type R in Australia but not the sedan version or Si you got in the states. Those hatch versions are made in the UK and I think are only RHD so that's probably why you didn't get them in the states. Also at that time Honda had very different model lineups for different world regions. Like the Accord coupe for the us. FD type R sedan for Japan and Malaysia only and the FN type R for UK and all other RHD countries. They even imported that model back into Japan and sold it as the Type R Euro.
Omg..! I'd love to see you build a mini truck. That's actually what I used to do. I grew up reading mini truckn magazine. I had a 99 s10 blazer with bags and a body drop 10 years back. It was actually in a mini truckn magazine. Its funny because my truck wasnt featured but was behind a featured truck at slam fest in Indianapolis. Needless to say I was shocked to see my truck in a magazine(only if it was a background shot. Lmao). Great video.
The 'rainy season' in Thailand. When it rains 4 inches in 2 hours, then the sun comes out and makes steam for half the day, then it rains again. No reason to shower if you plan on going back outside.
Man I didn't knew you were coming, I could have meet up with you and help you out touring the parking lot! I left a little early since there wasn't much activity after 9:00 am
2 things that are standard with thai vehicle shows.... They advertise them 1 week AFTER they're ended... They're advertised as 'bike week' 'car week' etc but last 15 minutes....
Now I love your channel even more.. I’m a Doritos lover... love the brap brap brap life. I have a FC and after watching I went to the garage open it up and rev it till I see apex seals coming out..lol That Mercedes Wagon was one of my dream cars believe or not when I was growing up in Peru. We had a dealer next door to us and I remember watching the trucks delivering this beauties. Ohh how I miss those days when I didn’t have bills to pay.
Listening to those FD’s brapbrapbrapping Was sweet sweet music🤙 I love Thai food and cars so maybe your on to something over there bud. I’m glad things are getting closer to normal for you.
I have know idea right now, I have been changing mind every time I see someone else's build. I need to get over there and see more cars. I would like it to be a daily driver, I will be living close to Bangkok. Do they have road courses to race on over there. That would make a sweet video!
My wife has a black s430 Mercedes, and the air ride died so it’s slammed 😂 she wants a new car, but I’m really thinking about keeping the Benz just because it’s v8 awd and looks sick! Down side to the jeeprod are those down pours. I have the same issue with my vert foxbody. It’s actually a roadster now since the top and frame are long gone. It’s fair weather only! Car meets are finally getting up and running here, lots of heads up drag racing planned for later tonight! 👍
Hey Chad, Benz, Volvos, Vdubz, 90’s is worldwide phenomenon, They just g et it so right in Thailand, As you say Euro & Stanced cars wouldn’t get far on those roads. Not saying ours are any better in UK, by the way. Be cool and keep it up. ✌️
The stance scene is not in Thailand, but it is in North Malaysia and south of Thailand. But the cars they used isn't any of the jdm stuff. Its more of Protons and Peroduas.

its the car meets :D I Love it
Part of the 90’s fascination in Thailand I would say it is because the 90’s was the golden period of Thailand
There's nothing better than sitting back enjoying a beer and a view and watching that monsoonal rain belt down.... Great vid mate!
So... As I calculate, you're halfway to about six cars now Chad. Kudos for the consistent content. You seem timeless in your quest for SICK MOTORSPORTS! Thanks man, keep up the great work
