Hello everyone, MT here with the usual trainspotting action. Back once more at Thirsk railway station on the east coast mainline. All of this was filmed within ninety minutes. The main reason for this trip was to capture two rail tours which were twenty minutes apart from each other. One was the ‘A Scottish Adventure’ train operated by NENTA Traintours and the other was ‘The Ancient Kingdom’ train operated by UK Railtours. Even though, I was expecting more traffic to come through especially when I was looking over the Realtime trains website. Because, an Azuma and freight train were scheduled to come through at the time when I was there. However, the Azuma passed through before I arrived, and the freight service was running late. Hopefully, this won’t affect your time watching.
Trains include: LNER HST & 225 sets, CrossCountry Voyagers & HST, Transpennine Express 185’s, Grand Central 180’s, DB Cargo 90035 and DRS 68’s
