About this visit!
The BBC Michigan arrived Duluth MN on December 20, 2024 at 14:08 in the afternoon. Arriving with cargo from China and other ports. The Pilot was Terry H, who always gives us a great arrival! With the help of the Grinch on the Missouri, they arrived at Port Terminal at 14:38 and began discharging their cargo. They finished discharging December 21, 2024 at 18:06 and departed the Port Terminal dock, heading out to the Duluth Entry.
They sailed out of Duluth under by cameras supervision at 18:39 after being in Port for only 28.1 hours. Heading to Montreal for their next mission.
It was such a quick turn around, the ship had the same pilot for arrival as well as departure!

The BBC Michigan is a good looking vessel. Awesome master salute and captain's salute. Loved the radio chatter...⚓📣📣
Thanks Steve! She was a 1st time visitor!
The chatter was wonderful! Thanks so much for including it in your videos. Proves the shipping folks are a close community. They all seemed relieved the season was winding down.
It really does, they have a great sense of camaraderie, they pull together. I personally really enjoy the Salties, they're like meeting a new person 😁
That horn definitely gets your attention!
A great horn for a saltie!
THE SALUTE 🫡 IS A VERY LOUD AND CLEAR SALUTE 🫡.
If nothing else, beautiful lights as the season wraps up
Thanks
Beautiful work. Love the Bentleyville lights in the background.
They sure make Duluth look pretty, don’t they?
@PaulScinocca As if it needs it.😁😁😁
Man, all the way from China? That is one darn LONG voyage.
Indeed it is!
the end of the never-ending ice-over? maybe?
Compared to last season! lots of ice this time.
