Found it at my local record store back in June. My mom bought it for me a few days later. Shame that this one doesn't get more attention because I think this is the point where El established his sound that we all know and love today. Credit to Len where credit is due, as well. He snapped on Shadows Drown.
Ohh shit I never expected that you are doing this album by company flow little Johnny from the hospital second album off of rawkus records this is the best fuckin instrumental album of all time so ahead of its time el-p was in his bag the beats sound so dark heavy and angry I still freestyle on those beats till this day I bought this album in a record shop back in 2003 the same year I buy fantastic damage by el-p this is the album you played when you mad and angry with every song no skips on this album some of my favorites are comp, workers needed, bee aware, world of garbage, shadows drown, worker ant uprise and my most favorite is number 9 that track sounds so dark and evil like you watch a horror movie that song makes me so angry when I listen to that track. This album is underaded because no raps from el-p and bigg jus and rawkus didn't promote this album back in 1999 and rawkus changed to go mainstream instead of being underground I don't blame el-p and jus for leaving rawkus records they want to stay underground bigg jus started sub verse records and el-p started def jux this album is show you where el-p is heading to fantastic damage and the cold vein oh yeah bee aware beat mr lif used that beat on the first def jux release called enter the colocus ep album in 2000. I still got the cd out right now I miss that Era from el-p when his beats were dark experimental bomb squad influence 1997 to 2012 after that el-p beats wasn't the same when he did run the jewels series it was alright but I do love run the jewels 4 that was dope. I do got bigg jus 2 solo albums like poor people's day and machines that make civilization fun amazing albums I got those on cd they are very hard to find just like el-p solo albums they are hard to find as well I got el-p solo on cd too I see you got ill sleep when you dead on vinyl I be patient for that review when you ready props on the fantastic damage the first review on TH-cam TH-cam history in the making props for doing a review because I don't see nobody did a review of this album you are the first person did a review of this album. It was unheard of a instrumental album back in 99 if it wasn't for company flow little Johnny there would be no flying lotus cosmograma, madlib beat konducta series albums oh no 2 instrumental albums and j dilla donuts at all for the 2000s little Johnny is right next to fantastic damage, cold vein and ill sleep when you dead the likes is up on this review I love this album a lot I know I said much but this album is rawkus classic right next to funcrusher plus and I also love the review of funcrusher plus you did too peace out 36 chamber is the best hip-hop TH-cam channel ever props for keeping vinyl records alive peace out I'm definitely listening to this album tomorrow on my cd player oh yeah mush records the label bigg jus on dope independent label the 2 albums I name I hope you find those albums they are hard to come by because of the label bigg jus is on just to give you notice on that.
