Think about the people that created tbe process.. I gotta think others see places for improvement too, but the designers really had a lot of mental tenacity to execute the system.

If you use tendons for a prestressed hollow core slabs, when (in hours or days) do you cut off the tendons after pouring and finishing activities?

I didn't see any rods or cables pre-stressed here. Just saw a couple of rods thrown in and some wire mesh laid in on top. Where's the pre-stress at on these??

Hi, it uses reinforcement bars not prestressed wires. The uses do not require the same loading.

no need to pre stress floors for say apartments where you dont hav so long spans and only a few people + furniture...
Pre-stressing is mostly used for longer spans ore heavyer loads,,, say a big parking house
