The Lost Village of Bothwellhaugh

Documentary detailing the true story of the former mining village known as Bothwellhaugh.

Many of the village residents were unhappy with previous tales of Bothwellhaugh so hopefully this film helped give them a voice and get the true story out there of what really happened to the village they once called home.
2020 Update*
Now that I'm a professional in television there's so much I'd do differently from my old college days however this was in many ways the crowning achievement in college that year and I'm very proud of the journey I went on making this and all the wonderful people I met whilst developing and filming it. It's hard to believe that it will be a decade next year since I pitched it to the BBC and others and it taught me a lot about the industry and actually did help shape the successful career I have now.

Wonderful film. There was another one made years ago on BBC Scotland but this one is far better and more accurate to what actually happened.
