This song will always have a special place in my heart. I had gotten laid off from work and kicked from the company housing, so I was on the road traveling across the country to crash with some friends for a few months. The next day, my dad had just gone into the hospital with covid. Two days later, he went into critical condition and I got a call from the hospital saying he won't make it unless they perform surgery on his lungs, and if they do operate, he'll likely be on life support for the rest of his life. They gave me the choice to either pull the plug now, or have them do the operation. I knew the answer was going to be the former, as my dad always told me if he were on life support or anything similar, he'd want me to pull the plug. Faced with this monumental decision that would end the same way, I needed some time to deal with it. Luckily the doctors said I could think it over for a day or two and come up with an answer. When the call ended, without thinking I opened youtube and there was this song on the top of my recommended list. And k owing sewerslvt, I'd be greeted with something that would likely calm me down a bit. As soon as I heard the opening, tears started streaming sown my face and I sat there in my car, crying to this whole song as sadness and later, anger and soon back to acceptance as the song faded out and I felt a huge weight lift off my shoulders. We ended up going through with the operation and he came out of it fine and is doing great now
