  • The Netherlands will be acting illegally if it decides to bomb militant Islamic targets in Syria, the country’s president Bashar al-Assad said in an interview with the Dutch daily current affairs programme Nieuwsuur in Damascus.
Assad: 'This is illegal. This is against the international law. We are a sovereign country. If you are serious about fighting terrorism, what is the obstacle for that government to call the Syrian government, to say “let’s cooperate in fighting terrorism?”
'The only obstacle is that the Western policy today towards Syria is “we need to isolate this state, that president, so we cannot deal with him.” Okay, you cannot reach anything then.'
Nieuwsuur also asked president Assad why hundreds of Jihadis from Belgium and the Netherlands come to Syria.
Assad: ‘The most important question is: why did you have them in Europe? Coming, that’s natural; when you have chaos, when Syria has been turned into a hotbed for terrorism because Europe and Turkey and Saudi Arabia and Qatar and those countries supported terrorists in different ways, of course you’re going to have chaos, and it’s going to be a nexus for terrorism. That’s natural for this, how to say, fertile soil, to attract terrorists from the rest of the world. But the question: why did you have them in Europe? You didn’t deal with terrorism in a realistic base.’

The reason for the Syrian Civil war is because they cannot buy Bashar Al-Assad, he is a true patriot. The surround Muslim countries have been bought: Turkey, Jordan, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia so no matter what they do its okay.

+Egypt, bought by re-instilling military dictatorship loyal to Saudi Arabia and USA (Egyptian Military is 2nd highest recipient of financial aid from USA after Israel), UAE is bought through loyalty to Saudi (very strong economic power, specifically Dubai), Yemen and Bahrain are being neutralized, Libya, Iraq, and Afghanistan have all been neutralized. The only two countries who have rejected to be neutralized are Syria and Iran. They will turn to the latter once (if) their mission in Syria succeeds. Russia stands by Syria because it understands the scheme being implemented in the region by the USA, Israel and Europe. Its a fascinatingly evil game of "risk" that began at the turn of the millennium, kicked off by 9/11 and continues to unfold infront of our eyes. Unfortunately the majority of human beings around the world choose to be blind.

“Muslim countries”?! The majority of the population is muslim yes but the regimes are not!!! Turkey is a liberal country, the Jordanian royal family is israeli puppet as well as Saudi Arabia and Qatar they’re mot muslim! and they all have the blood of muslims on their hands. You shouldn’t say “muslim” but “Arabic” to be precise.

I dont know much about Syria nor about Assad but listening to this man I can tell this man love his country and his people. The western propaganda toward Syria and Assad is completely wrong in many level. First they accused the man of starting a war against its people, when that failed they accused him of gassing his own people with chemical weapons, that turned out also wrong. It was Turkey who sold the gas to the IS and IS uses as an excuse to drag Nato to attack Syria. The fact that Syria still survived to this very day thanks to the support of Iran, Hezbollah and Russia and lastly the support of the Syrian people. The West on the other hand have support the IS with weaponry and buying oil from the IS. Very well said Assad my hats off to your sir long live Syria !

Do you think the Palestinian the Lebanese would be stupid enough to start a war with Israel who has tanks, planes and backed by the US, Israel happens to have 60 nuclear missiles. The reason they attack Israel back is mostly for defensive purposes or an act of revenge because one of their members killed by Israeli airstrike.

    • @YooTooLoB
      @YooTooLoB 8 ปีที่แล้ว

zero00tolerance I suggest you to learn about history. Lebanon was one of the Arab states that attacked Israel during the 5 days war for no reason. Israel then defeated the Arabs and claim some of their land in retaliation for them attacking the Jewish state first, that is why Israel and Lebanon have had complicated relations. Hezbollah is not fighting for Lebanon since Israel returned the Lebanese land occupied, it is fighting as a terrorist group who's only motive is the annihilation of Jews duw to their Islamic fundamentalist roots.

Remember than Saudi Arabia and Qatar are the best examples of democracies and individual freedoms themselves, to try and impose "democracy" not just in Syria but also in Yemen (the poorest country in the m.e.) while not accepting refugees and using slave labor for the construction of the stadiums for the world cup.

By democracy you mean more prostitution, alcohol, depression, lonliness, neglect, no moral responsibility, arguments etc.

    • @mr3zezw215

We can’t accept refugees because we can’t handle them. We lack of jobs, housing is expensive and we can’t afford all the benefits of being a Saudi to all. If you think it’s wise to leave the Yemenis to be taken control of by a terrorist regime that abducts children that steals from the UN that killed innocent people simply because they aren’t the same Islamic sects as them, who let ISIS members out of prison then please be my guest. Let’s see how a terrorist country would do last time we checked we got a corrupt countries that rigs votes and silence the people much so like Iran China and Russia. P.S Saudi is the largest donater to Yemen even before the war started

President Assad seems in my opinion reasonable. Not easy or specially sympathetic, but logic thinking. And the western press, yes we all know how manipulated/manipulating it is. I hope the conflict in Syria is solved soon (thanks also mr. Putin), good luck! And after that, please please start modernizing the mentality of Syrian people: less religion, more family planning, more music, science, football, freedom for women, etc etc etc. Good luck! And yes I think you can! I send you mr. Assad all my positive energy!

That was a great Interview and I believe what Bashar has said. More countries need to get on board with Syria, close down the Turkish Border and send in ground troops to work with the legitimate government to finish the Job.The people can then decide afterwards who will run their government by Electing their leadership.
Its the right thing to do.

    Such a good interview.
What strikes me is how any question, regardless of how much criticism, can be asked and is answered.
Assad either is a super good liar or he's plain right.
People claiming the UN is non-political is actually wrong, thats why Assad isnt trusting them.
He talked about how he knows he shouldn't negociate with organisations, but rather with groups.
Thats what America did wrong, they had people, local people, work for them in their war and then decided to fire them all from their job. Thats what formed ISIS, people that got mad at America and made stupid locals think they should hate America for religious reasons, which is a very good motivator to keep fighting to the death.
I think Assad is right about one thing, let him make the country stable again so terrorists wont get a foothold.

I sometimes hear how Assad should leave because there are people that don't like him. Last time I checked Obama had a 51% approval rating (about half the country approves of him) and Congress had an 11% approval rating, so what should be done about that?
