Honestly, after this and your Raid: Shadow Legends video, I would love to see you tear apart popular mobile games that constantly get talked about through word of mouth and sponsorships. I legitimately thought this was a State of Survival video for a few minutes until China came up.
I've been considering that. I got kinda pooped on for my Mighty Doom video (unlisted), so I was worried the Mobile Game enjoyer community (mouthbreathers) weren't worth the effort, but I think the issue with that video was actually the Doom community (also mouthbreathers apparently). I do think it'd be fun to talk about mobile games that are contemporary.
Holy shit the Chinese emperor with the black daughter! I have this ad saved to my computer cause I was so shocked when I first saw it, I couldn't believe it was actually real
My condolences on having to play a mobile game in order to make this video. But at least it ended up being surprisingly insightful and even inspiring. Keep emulating, brother. I'm close to beating Gex 2 (for the first time) in HD using Duckstation, and the zoomers ain't stopping me.
The kids these days have been reduced to corporate bootlickers in need of an education, I tells ya! When the industry is hellbent on not preserving its own history and treating its own market like crap, consumer advocation, nay, REBELLION is morally justified! Ahem... good video, mate. Nice to see you making stuff again! ;^)
They will never know the joy of a modded new 3DS xl with Pokémon black 2 on it with custom wall papers and background music. Truly the dark arts of master gamers.
Makes me feel bad for those mobile games that actually seem to be trying to be... Well, respectful games (for lack of a better term). They just get buried under all this trash. Not that they could go toe-to-toe with most console titles. But at least they try with their gameplay, they don't bombard you with ads, no gacha systems, they're more complex than simply "tap screen, maybe win prize(?)". These little arcade-esque titles that are pretty neat. Kinda what mobile games were before all this happened... My theory would have been that if people do play games like Puzzles & Survival, it would have something to do with it being free at its base. But then I remember that people pay actually currency for in-app purchases in these games (usually for gacha), so... Maybe not.
There are a few mobile games that are like that. They give the feeling of being old fashioned AA Portable titles, rather than being throwaway mobile slop someone slapped together in Unity for 5 bucks. It's unfortunate that those games do get buried, hopefully they find success in their own right.
A lot of users for this type of games are not what you could call gamers. They tend to be people that never played with a console or a PC. For them learning the (even basic) game mecchanics of a Pokemon game is too much of an hassle compared to a more mobile game.
your going to either be dissapointed or hate me maybe both but i actually play these games unironically garbage tier games are some of my favorites like mobile games by "say games" or "mechat" are some of my favorite just because its really fun to get drunk and talk shit about the game to other people who love dumpster diving.
The only mobile game I really play these days is Xdive. And that's because I desperately want a new Mega Man game. And Capcom said that apparently: "American's don't care about the Blue Bomber." Kinda untrue after us wasting our money on Xdive to show them with our wallets how much we want a new game in the franchise.
i already played all mmbtn, i need nothing else😂 Jokes aside, i think the problem with old games, is mainly graphics, they have gameplay but with today's graphics, not many want to delve into the world of emulators, quite a shame tho.
Hate to say it dude, but mobile games exploit things that have always been there, gambling, fomo, tons of other psychological shit thats always been there they just learned to exploit it. People can't get that from older games because they are you know, good.
It's Live2D. The woman who does the HauntLich character art is a Live2D model artist, and when done right, Live2D looks REALLY good. When done poorly it looks like Puzzle and Survival.
As for mobile games - I enjoyed Final Fantasy Brave Exvius for quite a while. Those dailies keep me logging in though. I do not enjoy it anymore. The higher tier raids and missions just feel...cheap. That weird cheap difficulty instead of an actual challenge. The story drags on endlessly and is awful. It never ends. There's eight million main story characters. Zero of them are interesting. I beat Mooshmoosh of the Dickbutt Star and now I have to fight Assrammer of the Smegma Star and it never ends until I get to the Emperor of Shart and then I beat him but plot armor then I beat him again but plot armor then I just want it all to end so I go parachuting with no parachute. But hey, I can get all those gatcha characters from all those awesome Playstation Squaresoft games. As for who is spending money - I found a Reddit thread where a dude spent $16,000 on FFBE. His wife found out. They ended up in marriage counseling. Insanity. I've spent $3 on that game.
The ad: Mario Galaxy
The actual game: Mario is missing
Ah, the scent of fresh HauntLich wafting from the kitchen, a nice early autumn breeze... it's a good day.
God it is a good day isn't it. Thanks for being here and thanks for watching.
Can't wait for the Puzzle & Survival X Hauntlich collab.
I'm waiting for the phone call man everybody's got a price and that includes this guy

4:57 that girl on the bg is barely wearing something! 10/10 best geim
You're right i was way too harsh on this game 10/10 lovin' those booba

I about lost my marbles the first time I saw it, I was in tears

I'm the newest Puzzle & Deeznutz fan now, thank you Hauntlich

...wait, the kids seriously think emulation is genuinely bad now?? That's news to me. *goes back to playing my hacked Classic SNES*
Yeah I plan to do a whole video talking about the conversation surrounding Emulation these days.
The only thing that kept me sane throughout this video was haunt's cute pixel sprites
Boobs: sleep
Pixel skelly: real talk
Reject humanity, return to skeleton ☠️
These tower survival games always perpetually piss me off bro it's like you can smell the cheapness through your screen
They RADIATE low effort and there are a million of them. If you're gonna play a tower defense game on your phone just play Bloons.
You played the game on screen on my phone, still doesn't look real too
Right? Really weird how you can play a game and have it still feel fake. Not a sensation I'm used to lmao.
awesome video haunt!
keep at it, youre awesome!
oh and shoot her
shooooooooot her
*raptor noises in the background*
No YOU'RE awesome! :D
The GOAT has returned.
Good lord it feels good to be back thank you for watching and thank you for being here
Welcome back, Hauntlich!
Glad to be back!
But...but...I want the twisted arcane knowledge....
This is the best video I've ever seen
Yes
Well now I wouldn't go that far :3
Hey haunt i love your videos
Hello friend thank you :D
At first emulation seemed bad but now ive emulated about twenty games on a pirated 3ds
Oh fuck new intro??? LETS GOOOO
Hell yeah! More new stuff planned for the future too stay tuned!
@@HauntLich hyped as always for that sweet sweet HauntLich content
Yay another videoooooo
More coming soon too! Hiatus is over!

Digital Dumpster Diving lmao. I can't even be upset, I love it. At least you're not like UHHHH THESE GAMES ARE GOOD UR JUST A HATER
This was good
Thank you thank you thank you
Where tf have you been?
I've got a video planned explaining what I was up to over the summer.

I have spent $40,000 on Puzzles and Survival after you reach $20,000 they send you a cool wallpaper for your phone
Somehow I feel like I believe this
Lol those Chinese, what will they think of next?
Haha yeah o_o;;;
The answer to that question is…yes
OOH! New hauntlich!
It's even got that new HauntLich smell!
@@HauntLich you mean the reek of a cursed crypt and week old Little Caesar’s?
i already played all mmbtn, i need nothing else😂
Jokes aside, i think the problem with old games, is mainly graphics, they have gameplay but with today's graphics, not many want to delve into the world of emulators, quite a shame tho.
HauntLich Pachinko game lets go
ayo bamco hmu fr fr

Its just candy crush but stupider.
They must make money because these bull crap games just keep coming.
Yeah each game is just an attempt to catch one or two whales, it's all they need. Very scummy.
God this game is such trash. Literally a soulless machine designed to drain your wallet.
Fantastic description of most mobile "games".
Jetpack joyride will always be the best mobile game, same with fruit ninja
I hate that tweening mobile games use. They look all gross like.
It's Live2D. The woman who does the HauntLich character art is a Live2D model artist, and when done right, Live2D looks REALLY good. When done poorly it looks like Puzzle and Survival.
Bruh pheonix is just rip off Gwendolyn from BTD6
With enough fuel and air, anything burns- Gwendolyn

You're not playing old games right unless you buy overpriced old hardware, apparently
First :3
Good job
Holy DUCK, it's Bwny Okasan! From the hype twitch.tv/LobotomyBunny channel (not sponsored)
This game looks terrible.
