You've made a great job of that ! Well done, you shoul be proud ! Just one criticism ... kick starting the bike while on the side stand - something I see all the time 🙈
Ian, looks and sounds great. 👍 Regarding the speedo and nacho cables - I wonder whether moving the headlamp forward and inch or so might provide more clearance to move the cable inboard. Don't know if alternative headlamp brackets might be available.
This one was helpful. I'm putting together a 76 T140 that I bought partially assembled. I had no clue how that tach drive was supposed to screw into the engine case. You can't just spin it on because it hits the engine. Now I know. Mine seems to be missing the cap on the underside. Parts book doesn't really show a cap on there.. it's weird.
Cant you just losen the fork cap bolts and rotate the gauges inward a bit, so they're closer together and the cables go on the inside of the fork ears? That's how I have mine.
hi Ian looks and sounds grand, Adrian.
Congratulations on a great job. The bike looks fantastic 😊😊
Super job Ian.

Yes I know, easier to start with stand up but I always think I will forget to put it down again, which would be disastrous!

Cables with angled ferrules may give you more clearance?

They sell tacho drives, speedo drives and gauges, might know were you can get spares.

Thanks for the info, cable routing is always a pain so good to know how others have theirs. I will have another fiddle about with it.
