I LOVE how real you are! So many artists on youtube are NOT...they think every single painting they do is a masterpiece from the get go...no 'fiddling' or scraping or ANYTHING...possible they are just not confident enough to show the not so awesome pours..LOVE your are and your channel and your charming personality!
Gorgeous, tempting me to try - do u just use normal acrylic paint + keep it fairly thick! Also love yr homemade turntable thingy! I was wondering how to do a real big painting, well at least 1.2 x 1.2
I love your confidence in sharing your struggles and how to keep going to achieve your desired results. So helpful and beneficial to those of us just beginning to paint.
I actually liked this painting before the swipes, then the big holed colander worked out beautifully I do think this turned out beautifully and I love the white in the center and I think it showcases the colors beautifully. It allows me to follow the colors along through the canvas and I like fun things. Thanks Molly!
❤ your positive outlook Molly. You have inspired my 9 year old Neice Immy & I to take this up. She had a Birthday party with her school friends and we did some Acrylic pouring. I bought her a Black apron like yours and she taught her friends. She has made some beautiful designs on little wooden coasters and wooden hearts and is selling them. She's a true Acrylic pouring Artist. Thank you so much for sharing all of your videos. It's good to know, that things can not go according to plan. Your Art is so beautiful & inspiring. Love Immy & Ruth from the South Coast of England. 😍
I homeschool & my son loves fluid art, he always laughs when we get messy! Especially when spinning 😂 Such fun! He even made a "goodbye" painting to his hospice hydrotherapy physiotherapist, because funding was withdrawn! Gold gilding on the edges! Oh! Yeah! He went full on! Bless him!
So sorry you had funding withdrawn, especially from such an important therapy, but so glad he enjoyed the fluid art - well done you for introducing him to such a fun activity. Thoughts and prayers heading your way- love Southampton, England x
PS … just got your email about this pour, and I loved the fact that you “kept going!” It teaches those of us who are just beginning to paint, that it’s ok to take your art & do what YOU think you should do, and have FUN with it. I enjoy your painting so much, Molly, and I thank you for being so “real” with us. Happy painting, friend. ❤️
A colander pour is the first thing I saw with acrylic pouring back in 2018, and that just happened to be yours, Molly! It is what got me into this art form, so thank you for that! I'm so happy to see you do another one, very nostalgic for me!! I love how you 'saved' this one even though I liked it from the beginning, the colors are fantastic!
I love that you didn’t give up Molly and I loved that you try a different colander. It’s really fun watching you. I love your art very much. You’re such a bright light.❤
I love you so much. I am not an artist of this kind. I watch you because I love your work and you are truly entertaining. Thanks for the big laughs. Happy painting.
Only a fluid artist would be so excited by a new colander ... Thank you for showing us that it doesn't always work out the first time ... and that's okay ... Don't lose your composure, just rethink how to make it work I appreciate that you pushed through when it wasn't working out the way you'd hoped and still managed to create something beautiful Loooove the colour combo - This is one I'll definitely use!
Thank you for sharing your failure with us which make us understand that it´s okay to make failures because from them we learn. This one you really saved by using the other colander. So, so, beautiful. ❤
You are just adorable! I don’t do this type painting but it makes this “old” lady really happy watching you. You are so upbeat and have such a positive personality in this time of craziness and that laugh…love it. Ok, and your paintings are beautiful. ❤❤❤
I agree MOLLY bring back the old colander, this has always been one of my favorite techniques from you. While this one is pretty it is just a different. I think the old one always reminded me of a kaleidoscope in the center. YAY a 2 for 1 🎉 The old colander paints again! Looking forward to the 3rd colander!!
It is Beautiful Molly. So Salsa Happy! The colors are fantastic together. Wonderful Spin Composition. Thank you for sharing. Oh I was eating my fresh homemade Salsa with some Purple peppers, green, and orange, Red and Yellow heirloom tomatoes, and jalapeno peppers. The colors were your painting.
This is awesome! I love that you publish videos that aren't "perfect", let's us home artists feel better about our "mess-ups". And this isn't a mess-up. It's beautiful! I love that you kept the "streaks" on the edge! Love love love!!
My MS support group always has a December fun activity. Last Dec. we did fluid art. Everyone had so much fun. They all liked my husband's finished piece the best. It is red and black with touches of white and silver. The white paint created some beautiful cells in one area. I hung it where it's the first thing you see when you come in the front door. It was his first piece of art and he loved doing it.
I thought it was gorgeous before the swipes. But I admit the finished product is amazing as well. No fails I'm creating & never give up - you proved that with this piece
Happy Labor Day, Molly! I love the colors. The second one is definitely better! I love it when you show us that not every painting turns out first time, but that anything can be fixed. Plus I love the fact that you are as messy as I am! 😂😂
Great Save!!! I do enjoy watching you. I love the colors. I like when you don’t give up and show us how to correct something that you don’t like . If at first you don’t succeed, try, try Again!!!😁😁 well done…
The only collander pour I've ever tried was one with the Mainstays collander you just used and it was an epic fail. I'm so happy to know that it wasn't just me, lol! You've encouraged me to try this technique again 😊 Thanks Molly! Love you girl!
It's not my favourite painting, but I am so glad you kept going! I think we've all had pieces that went wrong and sometimes you just want to cry and never paint again (I may be a little dramatic at times 😂) but this shows how even working artists still have these struggles and that the way forward is through. Even if the final piece isn't something you love, you can still get a beautiful result. Thank you for sharing this process with us 💜🧡❤️💛
So please to see you did this again. The colours were beautiful. The swipe would have spoilt this one. Great work on this beautiful art Molly. Regards Glenis
Hmmmmm, this was an A for effort on this one for me, as we know that ART is subjective (Beauty is in the eye of the beholder). I did a piece last week and I found myself “struggling” also, 🤪trying to convince myself that it was good and as I looked at it the next day I realized that it was crap and I decided to paint over it. lol. I am so glad that you always show us that it’s ok if something doesn’t go as planned, either scrap it off and start over, paint over it, etc.. THANKS for posting this, it truly continues to inspire me and I hope many of your viewers, subscribers, and maybe even clients, for the key to me was that we should not give up. ❤🎨
Wow! I just found your videos, and others like it. It is intriguing to me how many different ways there are to create beautiful art in simple ways. Ive learned so many different ways to use household items, as art tools. Beautiful work!
All your art is fantastic and beautiful! Been watching you for years. And your videos are always a blessing to me. This color pallet is especially stunning!! I love this painting. ❤ 🏆
Molly, I always say "artists art their own way!" I've learnt so much from you & Olga. May, I offer some advice? The spinner wasn't spinning evenly, so it needs to be leveled! I've had this issue. I don't have a permanent set up, so have to level my folding table every time. Love your resilience, persistence & fun! Great result 💐💐💐
Everything happens for a reason. I love the colors! Before you spun the painting, it looked like the top of a hot air balloon, as we're all drifting with the winds of the heavens. ❤😊
Thanks for not quitting! It turned out beautiful! The whites actually are to the painting. A little more purple would be nice too. I'm just learning too, I've been doing pours for a few months and I sold 2 already!!
Thanks Molly. That was quite a trip. It's gorgeous! I was yelling "NO!" at the screen when, after what you said, you put the yellow next to the purple! Both hands slapped immediately to my forehead. Thankfully that had no detrimental effect. Phew! The same when you put all that white in. Then the drip! OMG. The drips after you lifted the colander are like rosettes. Really pretty, I thought. Then you swiped! ARRGH! Oh boy! I felt your pain and completely understood why you poured again. What are you doing to us? 😂 It's going to be interesting to see the effect of the new colander with the long slit-like holes. One thing's for sure, the paint your scrape off your table is going to be a gorgeous colour for using in future. You've had me on the edge of my seat during my lunch break; and you have my imagination running riot. And I love the sing-song Bye at the end. You're inspiring me to have a go and film it all from day 1, mistakes, mud and all. Just don't know what equipment I need to do the filming, but I know I could just use my phone on a tripod to start with. You seem to film your work from a number of different angles, but I haven't figured out just how many cameras you have on the go. Thanks for all the fun of allowing us into your creative world. 💞☮💟
Looks like a bouquet of roses before the swipes. Afterwards, it looked like an angry girl with pigtails. The second pour after spin-out looks like a very up close pic of a flower. Great save!!
just saw a guy do one with the colander upside down, very cool. BTw I liked it before and after you swiped it the first time. After spinning the second time it looks like tie-die design. love those colors
I loved the first one before you swiped...it looked like all roses in the center....
I also LOVED the way the first one turned out before the swipe, I was PLEADING with you to LEAVE IT ALONE !!!!! ❤
I agree, it was the best.
Me, too

Me too. The original had a look of a ring of roses.
I also liked it before the swipe @@Deangirl86
Me 3 I thought it was really beautiful before the swiping 😢
It’s lovely 🥰 😊
I loved all of the versions but the first without the swipes was my favorite♥♥
Mine as well

I love the centre pattern. It looks like a ring of white roses.

Molly, I LOVE this one! I love the contrast the white added is amazing! When I first saw the white it reminded me of a dandelion blowing in the wind!
I loved the way it looked before you swiped it and it turned pink.
OMGoodness... This is beautiful. In love with the colors! 💜🩷🧡💛🤍
So glad!
This turned out beautiful and I love the colors!
Awesome palette 🎨
It makes me happy when you turn your fails into saves!

I appreciate you! thank you!
This is awesome..the white makes it!
Hi Molly, I love the colours, they’re like flames, with a pretty flower in the centre. Thank you x❤
I loved the center before you did the swipe! Beauty is always perspective. The finished image is stunning!
Thank you so much!
Thanks for showing all of us that even the best can struggle. You are awesome.
You are so welcome!
Pretty colors! Thank you again, Molly! ❤

I think it looks super pretty
I love this painting.
I love it. Don’t give up on the new colinder. Try again, but once you pull up, take it right off so the drips don’t happen.
