A fun fact about the song is that no one was able to cover the whole song until now due to their Vocals. The vocals and notes that they’re hitting themselves are so hard that no one dared to cover it, especially with the choreo because it may look easy but it’s tiring that can lose your breathing balance.

If you notice there’s a lot of objects that are part in the choreo which is really best during their concert because they were able to emphasize it. WOLF is a story they express through dance and singing very well.

Didja notice they raise their hands in the practice video to let the videographer know they are the one singing? And their names are taped to their shirt, presumably for the video, I guess. This makes me think the practice video is for the videographer.

yeah these videos are made for like music shows so the camera people are prepared to film what and who specially at what part. most of these are like leaked videos and they film separate dance practice videos without like nametags and raising their hands which we usually see

The picture you saw the EXO members create in their "Wolf" choreography is supposed to represent the Tree of Life. Which is a visual connection between the story in their debut "Mama" MV and the story in "Wolf". In the middle of the performance you see they create two separate trees (or one tree that is split in two) because "Wolf" is when they still have 12 members. EXO-K (Korean) was one half of the tree and EXO-M (Mandarin Chinese) was the other half. As part of EXO's storyline, the Tree of Life was split in half and each half was hidden away in order to protect it. However, the world has become corrupted by the evil Red Force, so EXO has been sent to Earth on a mission to find the two halves of the tree and reunite them in order to restore peace in the world, while also trying to stop and prevent the Red Force from causing all the bad thing that are happening in the world, such as hate, war and the destruction of the environment, etc.
In "Wolf" the members are also supposed to be a wolf pack. so the whole song is them acting like wolves. (Not gorilla moves, but wolf moves. LOL) The choreography was created to use movements that made them seem like wolves, and the moves, such as them showing their claws and bristling their backs and shaking are all things that wolves do as they compete for power and attention, etc.The wolf comes out of the forest (as he scratches the ground behind the Tree of Life) in the beginning of the performance and he is stalking his prey. Their prey is the girl that, in the song, they are talking about being so obsessed with and in love with that they can't help but act like a wolf and capture her so that no one else can have her, etc.
It is also often thought that the girl that EXO sings about in their songs is a manifestation of the heart of the Tree of Life. So, that is why EXO becomes so enamored by her and so possessive and protective of her, etc. Protecting the heart of the Tree of Life -- or the girl -- is what EXO has been sent to Earth to do.
It's also worth checking out the lyrics to "Wolf." You might be surprised what the song is about. LOL The main point of the song is they are saying, I'm a wolf, I'm a wolf and I love you so fiercely that I am going to capture you and possess you and devour you like the wolf that I am.
