It's hard to explain this era to people that didnt witness it. I'm not even sure exactly what to call it. It was like it's own genre that mixed elite raps with Soul, HipHop, R&B, Gospel (especially Chance), and Dance music, and like 90% of it came from Chicago. This might not make sense to people that weren't there but it really was just different. Just pure joy.
It’s going to take a lottttttt of work for me to view Chance in any positive light after his last few fumbles but..this helps. Too bad it never officially released, this is better than any second I could spend attempting to get through the Big Day.

The dude who fronted the finances and created the structure for Chance to prosper upon. Got shafted and replaced by immediate family members as soon as he dropped one dogshit album and lashed out at critics instead of owning up to making music nobody needed or wanted to hear.
