How’s the 9 speed auto? I wanted to drive one when I made this video but didn’t get a chance. I drove a ranger a few years back and the 10 speed transmission was the worst part about it
@@gnd111 Not really any reliability issues. Early in 22 they had a parking pawl recall. Then there have been a couple software updates. Mostly they are a little tempermental before warming up in cold weather in low gears. From what I can tell it's a minimal issue. -- It's an older Mercedes design and used in much larger applications like the Titan and the Mercedes delivery trucks and sprinters.
The refresh will do a lot for Frontier sales. I have not been a fan of Nissan trucks for sometime. In the past I have owned the Nissan Hardbody trucks for the model years 1988, 1991, 1993, and 1995.
Thanks for the update on the frontier pickup truck I've been looking in the last year or so for an affordable pickup truck and the word affordable is the most hardest thing to find in a truck these days. For me I would be more than content with a basic Bare Bones do all work truck years ago I bought a Mazda b2000 for $49.95 dummy I should have bought another one and just tucked it away as a few years later that same truck blossom in price and I felt the quality went down a bit but it was a great truck I kept it for $300,000 miles sold it to my best friend's son and he continued on with it for another 4 years without doing anything major to it I wish we could return back to the good old days when basic meant good reliable work trucks at an affordable price thanks again for the informational video let me know if you do a update to any of these low-end work trucks as I would be a buyer at around 30k depending on the truck. Again I'm just looking for something not high tech with all the bells whistles I just want a truck I can hop in and go and lately the vehicles I see on the Lots have all the amenities that I particularly don't necessarily need or want I don't need Bells whistles things going off while I'm driving I just want to again get in and go I want a basic to all and all many affordable truck one of the rarest trucks I think on the planet is the Nissan king cab two-wheel drive appliance white steel wheels No Frills I in the research I've done I can't find any period if you find one do a little video on that one as I think a lot of entry level buyers might be interested in that particular truck thanks again sorry for my rant love your video very informational keep it up keep us posted on any other affordable trucks good luck.
Thanks for candid view of Nissan Frontier pickup trucks that seem to be in your area quite affordable I live in Minneapolis area and I've been looking at Frontiers for the past 3 months I have not seen any discounts reduced rates on loans or extended warranties the average price of a Nissan 4x4 in Minneapolis averages around $48,000 to me it's a nice truck but I like the price of what you're finding in your area in the mid 30s and even in the mid 30s I kind of still think it's overpriced we could all blame this mess of high interest rates and prices on vehicles due to the pandemic shortage I hope in the near future things will change as I'd love to update my truck but I'm just not comfortable at 50K for a work truck thanks again for a good video keep them up keep us posted on what you might find in the near future I remain optimistic but very cautious the Minneapolis area most likely tends to lag behind Trends around the country thanks again good luck look forward to next video.
Thanks for the support! I agree, I would have a hard time paying mid 30s for a small midsize pickup, especially when reliability is a big unknown due to all the fancy tech and complex designs. I was happy to see the frontier does not have a turbocharger. I think the only way manufacturers are going to move these trucks are with super low interest financing. $35k over 6 years at 0% interest wouldn’t be bad at all.
Don't fall for it. The discounts look good because the price has been ultra-inflated. $35K for the Frontier, then add tax, destination fees, title, registration, etc. and your back to $40K out the door price. Frontier should be $25K not $35K.
Can't trust Ford though. They just recalled the escape and bronco XD Nissan isn't great either but from experience I know the trucks they have will at least go to 250k
Be nice if Mitsubishi came back in this segment, or Isuzu.
This right here would be dope
Just bought a 2024 nissan frontier pro-x nissan came a long ways with these trucks its built very well

All kind of complaints about the 9spd trans
@@gnd111 😮
@@carmarketnow Just bought a 2024 Frontier SV 4x4, too early to tell if there are any transmission problems, so far, so good.

What area of the US are you in? I am not seeing these prices in my area.

My 1995 nissan hardbody passed California Smog test. It took $90 air sensor and $200 diagnose and repair by a mechanic.

Pro 4X long bed, where are you? A crew cab or king cab Pro 4X with a 6' bed is overdue.

New video coming Tuesday! Please subscribe 🙏so you don't miss it!! I appreciate all the support!!
Where are you located? Great prices in your area. Thanks.
Hey, this is at Newton Nissan in Middle TN
There is just now way that a Nissan truck is anywhere near the quality or innovation of a Toyota Tacoma or Ford Ranger
What are they asking for the Pro 4x?
I believe the pro 4x was sitting around $38k after deductions
21 MPG! Really!
Save all you can on that Nisan.. you’ll need it for a new transmission pretty sure
You’re obviously clueless.
What state is this?
Tennessee
Yeah, it still blows my mind that these millennials think that these are GOOD PRICES. Even with the "Reduction", they are STILL TOO EXPENSIVE!!
Where is this dealership? City? State?
