Unity. Damn true !!!! I feel goosebumps at that scene after thor butchered big ass farmer purple guys head lol and just walk away with the scene got blur
From the perspective of a composer, I find it so brilliant how the musical theme at 3:03 plays under little moments for Tony Stark in this movie, hinting that death is imminent, and then if you listen to the track "The Real Hero", which they play at his funeral, it's an entire track based on this leitmotif. It's very sad to think about or even hear, but it's a masterclass in film scoring
0:00-0:41 perfectly sets the tone for the beginning of the movie. Thor expected to feel so much better after killing Thanos and going for the head because he thought he would finally avenge his brother, best friend, and his people. But then he realized he felt no different. All of the avengers only felt like they failed even worse when Thor did this. Thanos’ death didn’t reverse the massacre of the universe that they failed to thwart.
Básicamente es el mismo sentimiento de decepción que sylvie experimento cuando cumplió su venganza, pero a cambio de traicionar a Loki mandándolo lejos
This opening was so powerful following on from Hawkeye losing his family and Tony returning home, Nebula and Rocket, the teams damaged from Civil War, reeling from the snap to have their hope shattered once again. Really rooted for the heroes more than ever in this one
I think that's the overarching theme of the entire Infinity Saga: In order for your efforts to pay off, you have to pay out. Nothing comes free, especially war.
3:15 every year I do an annual binge leading up to this phenomenal conclusion, and I see over 10 years of storytelling passing by. It makes me feel very cold, because I know what's coming.
Alan Silvestri is a fkn legend. So badass. Just to name a few of his scores... Judge Dredd, Young Guns, The Long Kiss Goodnight, Captain America, Polar Express, Van Helsing, Tomb Raider, What Lies Beneath, Quick and The Dead, and of course, the masterpiece Back To the Future. 🤘
I feel like the opening part of the score perfectly encapsulates how it feels when you’ve accomplished something you’ve wanted for so long, but once you do it just feels meaningless and empty, like it isn’t worth anything and it doesn’t give you the closure you thought it would. That’s what I get from that “I went for the head” moment I might be projecting my own issues on to this a bit lol
Watching Tony at the first of the movie suffering *again* ... even knowing what happens later, this is also quite harsh. Especially after the amazing lose they had against Thanos... But then again, Tony ALWAYS makes me cry.. "Because it's always you".

Alan Silvestri. He composed the music for Captain America: The first avenger, The Avengers, helped with the themes on Age of Ultron with the very talented Danny Elfman, and Infinity War and Endgame. He also composed the soundtrack for Forrest Gump.
5 years passed since the premiere… i reminiscing my life in 2019-2024 as i’m listening to this track and damn these were some pretty dark times… but i’m on my way up now. Gotta fight!
Luke: is that what happened to you? You're gonna blame my family for what some boy did this to you? Buck: look, I'm sorry for played out like this. It's over. We're shut down.
The sequencing in this track is a bit off. The first part starts when after Thor kills Thanos. That cuts immediately to the 5 year jump. The next sequence in the track is then the part where Tony is about to die before Carol finds them. This part well before they even plan to go to the Garden.
Tracks from soundtracks don't necessarily follow the movie's scene order. After a lot of editing and post production stuff clips from certain soundtracks may be inserted into certain scenes. Even scenes themselves may be moved around for a better story.

@@stevenpatton5026 you are the truth. The Thanos scene, this was not in.
The leitmotif that starts at 3:13 and its coda used during Stark’s funeral remain the most moving music ever composed in the MCU.
