I got this palette and i’m medium/dark and it works perfect on me. I use the lighter powder under my eyes and the darker one all over my face. I’m surprised seeing these comments saying it doesn’t work. It’s such a beautiful palette, i really hope next year they make different versions to cater every skin tone!

Got this for my mom trying her to step out of the box with her usual makeup, she’s loved most of the stuff I get her from your channel, but as soon as I put a little bronzer on she said she looked liked a field worker. Typical Asian mom. On the positive side I love the palette and ended up keeping it for myself. Love the colors. She loves using highlighter. I showed her that women her age and Asian look great with a little highlight. Plus she looks great for being 67. Keep up the videos, my mom loves seeing someone in her age group and Asian trying new makeup 😊

Please, don`t forget about it :) I have this palette as well and I`m loving it, except the highlighter is a bit dark for my light skin (about NC20), but I still can make it work for my skin as a highlighter.... I’m picking mine up at Sephora tonight, and I can’t wait! I have a ton of Hourglass products, including several of the ambient pressed powders. However, this will be my first time trying out the bronzer and blush formulas. I’m super pale, so I’ll have to play around to get the second ambient powder to work (maybe as a light bronzer/contour?). I’m so up for the challenge though. It’s definitely gonna be makeup playtime tonight! 😍

This palette is gorgeous - I haven't played with it yet, but I can't wait to use it! The only bad thing is that this palette is really for light - medium skin tones. Are they all full sized or mini sized in the palette? I’m trying to determine if I get the palette would it be cheaper or worth it compared to just getting one or two mini pans
I loved it too!! I almost passed but glad I didn’t. I returned their last one because I already had two of the colors in my collection and didn’t like one color of the six pans. This year’s palette is new new and gorgeous.

I never tried any Hourglass products because i am not sure on how they will look on my combination textured skin, but this would be perfect to try them out. I probably have to wait for the Edit4, since i am quite pale and this one might be to dark for me (1w1 in Estee Lauder double wear)
Thanks for another great review. I love Hourglass as a brand and particularly the ambient light powders. I’ve been using Luminous Light since it first came out as the last step in my makeup routine to just buff and blur everything together. It is a total holy grail product for me.
I hadn’t been interested in this, but swatched it in store after your review. It is beautiful and I agree it is their best holiday palette release. Every color is useable.
This looks great on you, Michele! I was really hoping for a more deep skin friendly palette this year, however, based on the promo pics. I don’t know why they don’t just release a light-medium and a medium-deep palette at this point.
I just got this and overall I love it. Except the bronzer is too warm. I mix it with my Kevyn Aucoin sculpting powder to make it work. Also I was thrilled the highlight in this palette is in the newer metallic formula instead of the original strobing formula (which I hate, lol)
Oh yeah... that original strobing formula was so chalky and glittery on me. Did not like. But yes the new formula is amazing!! I think they're coming out with single pans of them!

I want this so bad but I really think it’s too light :( I’m not even that dark, medium usually and tan at most, I was excited because this palette steamed darker than the ones released years prior, but when I swatched it in stores the lighter blush wouldn’t show up on my skin and the bronzer could be my skin toned pressed powder 😢 so sad! I love hourglass, I have so many of their products and I’ve wanted a compact palette with everything in it but they never seam to work for me. Oh well, I’ll lust from afar.💔

I came onto TH-cam as I had a feeling you would upload this review today after seeing it on your last video yay 😍 this palette is really calling my name - the blushes look so pretty. I just don't think I could use the darker of the finishing powder. I wish companies would release palettes in two shade ranges to please everyone.

I have a friend who has the med/dark Becca palette and LOVES it. She also purchased this palette because she loved the blush shades so much and the highlighter because it’s brighter than the Becca.
Hi Michele, thanks for this review. I generally don't purchase these type of palettes as I tend to stick with the Charlotte Tilbury's highlighter and contour wands because they are easy but this one is so pretty! And I love they are cruelty free so maybe I will have to buy it! 💕💕
Those CT wands are sooo good!!! This palette has a few other things to offer like blush and finishing powder but if you’re not into those things then there’s no need! But i think it’s lovely if you do decide to try it. 😘😘
I am so pale that as is the case with Dim Light, Filtered Light would work as a peachy blush for me! Too many golden undertones for my skintone, possibly. It looks well on you, though!

The highlighter in this one is the same formula as the trio, but the color is different than those. It's warmer than the bronze one in the trio. I think if you're a fan of HG powders, this may be worth it for you. All the shades are new, and I think the blushes are really beautiful!
Dang, was really hoping the bronzer would be more golden (yellow). It looks warm (like bronzer should) on you, but I already have such a warm complexion, sometimes products that look warm on others look muddy/red/grey/brown (take ur pick, lol) on me. I prefer more of a yellow undertone bronzer, not orange, but not grey. Does anyone have any recommendations? I have the hourglass bronzer in Radiant Bronze Light, and it's a little too red toned for me. I've been wanting to pick up the Luminous Bronze Light, but it's so pricey, I haven't bee able to bite the bullet
that highlight is gorgeous! Why can't they come out with 2 versions for light and deep skin tones? All but one of these work for me but it is annoying that they put these out as universal every year. The last one was almost too light even for my skin tone.

The bronzer is quite orange on my taste. I think tom ford terra bronzer has the best color not too orange, not too cool, almost invisible

I haven't had issues with their longevity. I have very dry skin. I think if you have oilier skin it would break down powders more quickly.

Def not full sized. Each pan is 1.4 grams.

Agreed, I bought it hoping it would be darker and it isn't. I'm also NC42.
Spectroscopy I’m an NC42/44 and I find this palette works for me. It doesn’t swatch very well but goes on with a brush pretty good.

I came onto TH-cam as I had a feeling you would upload this review today after seeing it on your last video yay 😍 this palette is really calling my name - the blushes look so pretty. I just don't think I could use the darker of the finishing powder. I wish companies would release palettes in two shade ranges to please everyone.

Oh, I had already eliminated this palette because from the brand photos it did look darker than I prefer. After seeing this now I may have to rethink getting one. I have to go watch your review of the Natasha Denona palette now. I love your look today.

I have a friend who has the med/dark Becca palette and LOVES it. She also purchased this palette because she loved the blush shades so much and the highlighter because it’s brighter than the Becca.
Hi Michele, thanks for this review. I generally don't purchase these type of palettes as I tend to stick with the Charlotte Tilbury's highlighter and contour wands because they are easy but this one is so pretty! And I love they are cruelty free so maybe I will have to buy it! 💕💕
Those CT wands are sooo good!!! This palette has a few other things to offer like blush and finishing powder but if you’re not into those things then there’s no need! But i think it’s lovely if you do decide to try it. 😘😘
I am so pale that as is the case with Dim Light, Filtered Light would work as a peachy blush for me!
Too many golden undertones for my skintone, possibly. It looks well on you, though!

AGREED! This palette is fantastic, and Hourglass did not disappoint as usual! I also got the Natasha Denona Safari palette, but I’m afraid to use it based on many of the reviews I’ve watched. Hoping mine is as good as yours and not a dud! Thanks Michele!
My advice with ND shadows in general is to take it slow. They're so pigmented, and because of their creamy texture they take a bit to work out. xoxo
I love Hourglass. I have so many of their products and they are always such great quality and never disappointing. I really want this palette but it is expensive and I don't need a palette. But ahhh I want it :)

I have the trio highlighter and it reminds me so much of this palette
If I have the trio do I need the palette?
The highlighter in this one is the same formula as the trio, but the color is different than those. It's warmer than the bronze one in the trio. I think if you're a fan of HG powders, this may be worth it for you. All the shades are new, and I think the blushes are really beautiful!
The Hourglass looks awesome on you, especially the blush and highlighter.

Dang, was really hoping the bronzer would be more golden (yellow). It looks warm (like bronzer should) on you, but I already have such a warm complexion, sometimes products that look warm on others look muddy/red/grey/brown (take ur pick, lol) on me. I prefer more of a yellow undertone bronzer, not orange, but not grey. Does anyone have any recommendations? I have the hourglass bronzer in Radiant Bronze Light, and it's a little too red toned for me. I've been wanting to pick up the Luminous Bronze Light, but it's so pricey, I haven't bee able to bite the bullet

NC42 in MAC foundation. I watched this hourglass pallet in store and knew it would not work out for me....boo
that highlight is gorgeous! Why can't they come out with 2 versions for light and deep skin tones? All but one of these work for me but it is annoying that they put these out as universal every year. The last one was almost too light even for my skin tone.
I agree - they should really start thinking about doing two!
