We want to Thank You for providing transparency and honest information on not only the CVOs, but Harley Davidson motorcycles in general. Recently, You took the time to take our call when we were deciding on buying our 2023 120 Anniversary CVO Road Glide Limited(117/1500), even though we were purchasing from Queen City Harley Davidson in Ohio. We can’t wait for to ride our new bike and continue to experience life on 2 wheels! 🇺🇸. Donelle & Walt
I'm still on a '14 Ultra and very happy with those Rushmore upgrades that are now 10 years old. The CVO's look great, but I'm riding the 14 until she dies!
I traded my 13 ultra limited for this bike. I had it for over ten yrs and did a lot of miles on it. When I saw that paint and basically the whole package I could not help myself. I’m crazy about this bike, it’s gorgeous!!! I just wish I could adapt to the electronics quicker. It will come.
I test drove the new 2023 CVO's in Milwaukee at the 120th. Loved the effortless power of the 121 vvt and I'm looking forward to buying one. The 2023 colors are holding me up. I need a mako shark fade or darker solid color to pull the trigger. Thank you Matt for making all of your videos. I look forward to watching them.
Great presentation, Matt and Nick. And by the way, it was a pleasure meeting you today at your dealership, Matt. Thanks for the time you‘ve spent with me. Best Alfred
I tossed up between the new 2023 CVO and a new 2022 Orange CVO with the larger front wheel a month ago, in the end a chose the 2022 CVO. I just liked the 21” front wheel look and the colour just popped, it still had the traction control, and I got it for a really good price. The new 2023 bike is good I’m sure, but there’s more to consider then that’s it’s the latest tech, you’ll never keep up with tech anyway.
Excellent vlog Matt and Nick. I like the in-depth commenting. I'm glad the motor company keeps pushing the boundaries and listens to their customers. I've never had a CVO but ride with three friends that have them in a variety of years. My interest has been reliable and cool (to me) transportation locally and across country with my 94 FXR, 07 FLTR (with over 195K on the original drivetrain), and 14 FLSTC. Keep the great content coming especially the trips.
In previous model years, CVO's would come in to my local area dealerships and immediately have "hold" or "sold" signs on them. Never saw one sit on the showroom - ever. This year, my local dealership has had 5-6 new CVO's sitting, for months and months. Interesting times
Yea, production is always a big factor along with demand of course. I feel this year they tried to cram a full model year worth of product into 5 months of selling time. We've had some dark platinum CVOS available to sell that weren't pre-sold in the last few weeks. On the other hand, I've had customers waiting 5 months for whiskey neat Street Glides that are still waiting.
I’ve never personally expected a motor to be the bigger thing in a CVO. I’ve always thought it was all the loaded aesthetic features leaving want for nothing.
I just bought a 23 CVO RG..love it..but I understood how you feel..you have a beautiful and sound platform..to enjoy many years of touring..or just staying local as a daily driver..
I own a 2006 FXSTSI (my pride and joy) and a 2022 FLHR. I had never ridden an M8 powered bike until I bought my 22 FLHR this past May. The difference in the technology from the TC88 on a Softail to the M8 on a Touring model is insane. I can only imagine the leap from the 107 M8 to the 23 CVOs. I have been a fan of the CVO line since they were called Screaming Eagle bikes. As a Springer enthusiast, I've thought about buying a 2009 FXSTSSE3, but just never did it. If the 24 CVO line has a better paint scheme (it doesn't have to be wild), I will seriously consider buying a 24 CVO. I had never seen a Coast Glide before this video. Your Coast Glide III is one of the best looking motorcycles I've ever seen. Keep up the awesome work on the bikes and the videos.
I havs a steel blue 22 CVO road glide and honestly, i wouldn't xhange it for the 23 model. Just love it, an awesome bike. But as you say... each to their own. Ride safe from Sydney Australia
I agree with the discussion on the CVO having some exclusive features. I just purchased my first CVO Street Glide. I did not ever think that I could ever afford one. I traded in my Street Glide and financed the balance. I have been riding for 30 years and I am in my 70's. I am planning on riding for many more years on my 2023 CVO Street Glide in the Dark Platinum. Thank you for your awesome videos. You guys always do such a great job.
Just purchased my 2023 Platinum Cvo Roadglide and love it. This bike is a beast without any upgrades. I owned a Street Glide prior and never liked the look of the Roadglide. I will tell you after riding the Roadglide I fell in love with it. I was also never a Cvo fan before prior to this year. Remember there is an ass for every seat that’s why there’s 75 flavors of ice cream. To each his own ride free and thanks for the podcast.
That Street Glide is the business. I've never been a fan of the road glide fairing, the new CVO didn't change my mind, still prefer the street glide. I went to get a street glide this last summer but saw an 88 FXRS first and it stole my heart. I'll get the street glide when they do an ST with the inverted forks and that new fairing. I'm not big on stereos on a bike. I have my helmet comms setup, but I'd love a Street glide with a single seat, inverted forks and that new fairing. That combo would just be sexy
I was waiting for yall to mention the wheels That's a huge visual aspect that can't be overlooked!!! My first mod to my 22 ultra limited "Apex crome" was the wheels!! It completely changes the look!!
Bought a new FLTRXSE in Dark Platinum at the beginning of November. Coming off of a 2017 FLTRXS the one thing I can say is it is a night and day difference. The new platform handles way better in the corners because of the new front end, you notice it is indeed lighter meaning it’s a lot of fun to toss around corners and do low speed maneuvering , and the tech just makes even the previous year seem extremely outdated by comparison. Even if most don’t like the Dark Platinum color the rest of the improvements makes up for it and you actually feel like the price you pay is justifiable compared to previous years where that was debatable.
As far as I knew you still had it because I was just listening not watching so it was news to me when I just read the comment, either way you're a cool dude Matt.
Good vlog Matt, I'm a little disappointed with the '23 CVO Street and Road Glide paint sets. I have a '22 CVO SG purchased new, last year (my second one) and every color scheme offered for the '22 CVO's was a home run!! I even had a hard time deciding which color scheme to choose from, lol! I appreciate the new suspension, bigger motor and high tech fairing designs but i believe, that HD is moving away from jaw dropping great looks and classic style because of their competition and for the younger demographic. My opinion, for what its worth.
Great video Matt. Always watch your videos they are so informative. I saw the Street and Road Glide CVO the other day. I absolutely love them. That def is my dream bike thats just a little bit out of my reality to buy unfortunately. Maybe if i cluld ride year round.
Great video! I never get tired of the shop talk, good stuff! It helps those of us in the Midwest make it through the winter. I saw you included a clip of Danny Hayes riding, did he stop moto logging? ..say it ain't so!
Hey, Matt, your video’s topics, production value and style are awesome. I haven’t found anyone “better” or more interesting. I appreciate all content creators and you are leading a great bunch of folks. I love hearing from your team. Their perspectives plus yours are just rich. Cheers, from Canada.
Love the 120 anniversary CVO and the new CVO shown here…. if somebody wants a “classic / old school” Harley then there is an unlimited amount of those used bikes out there for sale…
Appreciate the discussion and Information. I've been on the fence on the CVO and this Vlog helps and supports my decision to delay. Looking like 2024 or 2025 unless some of the 2023 CVO features bleed into non-CVO bikes. If enough features migrate, may put of the CVO buy a bit longer.
As a long term customer who has been through the progression as a consumer, starting with a used sportster 20 years ago. Five HDs later I am up to '21 SG special that I bought new. I see the Limited series as a better value, when compared to a CVO model. CVO riders have seemed less aggressive in their riding, but that seems to be changing. For me, the used CVO market is a new niche that allows me to step into the nexus which you have been referring to as they move down to a price point I can live with. I see the new '23 CVO as an opportunity 3-5 years from now. Thanks for a good video and I look forward to more of this kind of content. (Somebody needs to do something with the decor in your office/studio. That wall behind Matt is than ideal.)
I love the 120th Limited CVO. I looked at one here at my local dealer in Indiana. It’s a beautiful machine. If someone is buying a CVO simply for status and exclusivity then they’re buying it for the wrong reasons. They should do their own build if they want a one off bike. The pissing contest is juvenile.
I totally agree with giving bikes other than street glides and road glides the “special” and CVO treatment. There are so many damn street glides and road glides out there, give the CVO and special treatment a break on them for a year or two. I feel like things such as ride modes, locking bags on baggers, and LED lighting all around on every bike, should not be exclusive to high end bikes. Those should come on all bikes from the factory in this age. High end paint and finishes I think should be exclusive. Digital gauges should be offered in all sizes for those who want that functionality. Supersize the RevMax and put it in some softail/touring models. When a primary competitor is doing these things at similar price points or even for a little less, no excuse for these things to not come on more/all bikes.
I was blessed enough to buy my 5th HD, the 2022 Road Glide CVO in blue steel and I am absolutely in love with the bike, having said that I don’t think waiting for the next model year to see what HD brings out before you purchase is a good idea otherwise you will never get a bike. A HD bike purchase should be love at first sight
I think the redesigned CVO bikes were intended to be 2024s and were rushed into production early because of poor sales numbers, and as usual, plenty of customers are doing the validation HD should have done before production even started.
I had just bought a 2018 Street Glide standard in Matte Grey and traded it for a 2018 CVO Street Glide in Gunship Grey, not sure it was worth the double amount I paid 😳 Shoulda kept the standard and added some upgrades. Same suspension, similar engine and the Boom II stereo ended up being a goat rope. I think $40k is too much for any motorcycle. My 2020 BMW M240i was the same price and there’s a lot more to it than a bike. Just my opinion after owning it for a few years. Great video Matt and Nick.
Bought a new Streetglide CVO in 2019 primarily because of the upgraded sound system and larger engine. After a year I poured money into upgrading the sound system (sounded good in the showroom but crappy on the road) and the suspension (stock suspension was crap). I would have saved a lot of money buying a stock Streetglide and modifying the sound system and suspension. I still like the bike (special paint is what makes it unique now) but if I did it again I wouldn’t spend the big bucks on the CVO. I’d customize or wait for the unique features to trickle down.
One thing I noticed you guys didn’t talk about was the new air intake that really is a throw back to the early 80’s. I do not like that intake at all. I get that a big engine needs a lot of air but that thing covers the entire motor. That engine is absolutely beautiful and to hide it like that is a terrible idea. If I were to buy one the first thing I’d do is change it. Great video.
Overall, I REALLY LIKE these changes on the newer CVO’s with the new fairings and so forth. There are a few small things which I believe need to be tweaked, but it won’t matter to me because I don’t have that kind of money to lay out on a new bike. I will need to hope some of those improvements make it to the “regular grand touring” models.
I traded my 2021 CVO Limited (Bronze Armor) for a 2023 CVO RG (121VVT Dark Platinum). Yes, I was VERY pissed I paid premium for my 117 CVO when they released the other bikes with the same engine. I hear what you’re saying about the Pan America but that’s apples and oranges. As a CVO owner it IS about exclusivity for me. Paying the premium price should come with some perks. Great topic guys! Thanks for the video.
Do you expect them to NOT give the 121 to the rest of the line going forward? They have literally always moved the cvo engines down to the rest of the model lines. 103, 110, 114, 117, why would you expect that to change now?
For me its apples and oranges as well, but the analogy needs to be continued further out. I don't care if my apple isn't as easy to peel as my orange, because I eat the skin or cut the apple anyways. This seems like a very heated debate about whether granny smiths are easier to peel than a red delicious, while I'm just wondering why you didnt buy the orange if "peelability" was so important. It seems especially confusing to me when we find out that the difference in how easy one apple is to peel vs another apple is 5-15%. I think I may have gone too far with the apples and oranges 🤣 Its like going into a rolls royce dealership and being upset about which model has which engine, its why the joke is that they always just say that the engine is "adequate" for the job. So long as it has enough power, I care more about it being smooth, having the right character and sound, and with a HD because I can see the engine, I want the engine to look gorgeous. But caring about the displacement seems, I don't know, just kinda low down the list of priorities. Its going to be a slightly quicker 800 pound cruiser. The difference will be less significant than many other changes on the bike. I think CVO's should have amazing engines, and I don't see a good argument for why they wouldnt have the largest displacement engines HD makes. I think thats good and fine, I just have a hard time being worked up about it because to me its just a number, and its far from the most important thing about the engine to me, let alone the bike. Thanks for watching!
@@Axle-7 I totally expect the motor size to trickle down. But, what they’ve done in the past is move the “needle” at the same time to keep the CVO ahead. What happened when I bought my 21 CVO is they released the same engine on the non-CVO models in the same year. I don’t think that was cool. That’s what frustrated me.
Good conversation y’all. I was able finally test ride one of the new CVOs. It was ok, but wasn’t impressive. I’m a RG rider and think the new fairing is too gaudy. The headlight, turn signal combo is way too big and looks out of place. But that’s just my opinion. When you mentioned the price difference between the new CVOs and the anniversary model….you are basically lying to the people. The new CVOs are dealer marked up over $50k, i checked in multiple states around me and they are all the same. MSRP is a joke conversation. Dealer greed, more than likely. I do like the new infotainment screen. The different ride modes are ok. I think the rain mode would be beneficial more so over the sport mode which i found no use for. Cheers y’all and keep the rubber side down.
The appearance of the 110 in 2016/2017 Softails were the phasing out of the TC engine before the M8 (I own the 2016 TC103 High Output Ultra Limited, just before MY17 Touring 107 M8). Same for the 103 High Output upgrade in the Heritage Classic 2016/2017 by the way. The euro 4 emissions were coming up, last opportunity to sell these upgrades with TC engines. So, the 2022 Softail 117 M8 trickle down (so only for 1 year), up from basically previous CVO114 (all euro5 downgrade already per 2020) was kind of predicting some thing new for 2023 ....... so the 121, 2024 euro5+ ready by the way, so ....... VVT trickle down in 2024 < 121CI ? just maybe for fuel consumption, the M8's could be still OK there. The 117 (per CVO2018 > std114, upgrade because the first Softails M8 got the 114 then) not just had 3 CI more (2.6%), it also has a different camshaft for 15% (!) more power at negligible torque increase, still very smooth though, the 114 (CVO 2017) vs std107 (CI +6.5%) did not have that. I have the 2019 CVO Limited 117, last euro4 (the only chrome version of that year, great gurgle sound from the air filter when giving "a bit" of throttle ......), and have no problems with the 117 trickle "down" (not before 2022, so I had my joy), because they went in a sportier chassis anyway (Softail ST), or did not have the CVO amenities (Touring ST). Thanks for your discussion ✌.
I think theyve dropped the ball on the color schemes on the cvos for quite some time outside of the anniversary bike. The cvo is SUPPOSED to be in your face and an obvious upgrade.
I appreciate the comment. What paint schemes do you like? Give me an example of a specific name of paint that you think the CVO should always have. I'm curious. I have my opinion as well.
@MattLaidlaw I think 2019 is the last cvo that looked like a cvo to me. In my opinion, you're paying for that more custom look. The single or basic two tones don't differentiate from a base model in my opinion. One of my favorite cvos are probably the 2013 and 2014 cvo road kings. I like the color schemes on those bikes alot, but don't particularly expect another cvo road king anytime soon
I disagree to a degree. The CVO paint schemes have been awesome up until the 23 CVO Road Glide and Street Glide, which are underwhelming. The 23 CVO Road Glide and Street Glide almost feel like they were either rushed out to market and didn't have time for better paint schemes, or they did it this way in order to wow people with the paint schemes on the 24 CVOs.
Good show! Bought a SG in Dark Platinum. Dont sell that color short, its a amazing paint job and looks great on the bike. This is my 2nd CVO had a 20 Limited. This handles much better, power is great and have nothing I dont like. Added a Tour Pack just waiting for a Touring seat.
Great show!! Do you guys know if there is any hope that California will allow us to upgrade the 2023 CVOs with any stage kits or even a high flow air filter maybe? Makes me mad 49 states can upgrade, but California cannot! Love the show!!
Hi Matt, does the 2023 CVO Road Glide come with the Cardo communication system as I saw on the 2024? Are there any other references besides colour with the 2023 and 2024 bike here? Thanks ,
Great video. I prefer the more recent understated colors for the CVOs... maybe not a popular opinion, but it's mine and I don't care if others have a differing view. To each his own. I'll take the new silver CVO Road Glide over about any CVO. The new tech and body work make all the difference to me.
CVO used to be a section in the catalog with custom limited paint schemes and special part upgrades. Now it’s a ridiculously expensive motorcycle that is set up with most the upgrades one would do. The paint schemes are passive compared to what used to be available in the catalog. I kinda liked it the old way.
My only critique about the newer style touring bikes is the lower fairing delete. I own 2 bikes now, got rid of the two sportsters, just got too old, for lack of a better explanation. I'm going north of 50+ in age. Now I think I'm staying with my Road Glide Ultra, it has those nice lower fairings to keep my knees and toes nice and dry! Also the price totally turns me off. I remember saying in the early 80s "I'm not paying $10,000!" Well I can say that I've had my lion's share of Harley-Davidson motorcycles. The Road Glide I own is absolutely perfect for me. So, I guess I'll be fading out soon riding non-stop. It is what it is. Keep the faith young brothers! Motorcycles are forever, we ain't! Keep the ugly side up!
I love the look of the new CVO's, HD made a big improvement over the outgoing bodywork. These bikes are out of my Price range, being $30k+ than My Softail was, but they're still pretty cool, and hopefully some of that tech like VVT trickles down to the Softails.
Great CVO breakdown guys! It seems to me that they new CVO Street Glide and CVO Road Glide will become the standard touring platforms sooner than later. Am I just hopeful? What are your thoughts? Thanks!!!
The new Model year Launch in mid/late january is for a Lot of european customer to late. Our riding season Starts in April. If you ordered in the past years a new Harley, your Delivery Date was often at the end of the season in October or even later. Many Biker switched to BMW or Triumph or other brands. I and many others spend there Money now, before Christmas or in this year. Tax reasons, available Money and to make shure the new toy ist in late march in the Garage is a reason, that makes it Harder for 🇪🇺 Harley Davidson Sales. I liked the HD September Model Year Preview a Lot more.
All subjective but they should have kept a couple analog gauges on the CVO's and also have the big screen like on BMW's R18...... seems like the " Infotainment " system is a big priority with the new riders ?...... Showing my age..
Wow. The new styling is beautiful. In regard to buying a bike a year before new releases with higher displacement, there’s also a thing about being content or being jealous. A bit of luck and a bit of knowledge of anniversary years when Harley always releases some specials. If you’re the waiting type you’ll probably never buy one. Or maybe you’ll buy the newest edition every year.
I noticed that on the latest CV0 that they didn't put axle covers on , it makes the bike look much better when they put them on, should go back to putting them on I think 🤔 👍👍
@MattLaidlaw its the little things that are important I think, really enjoyed you & Nick's conversation, you both know what you're talking about, well done guys 👍👍
The 16 was a good analogy. The 15 cvo was the exact same bike with tire pressure monitoring added in 2016😮 if you can't be with the one you love, love the one you're with... things change 🎉
At least once a month, somebody gets upset with me at the counter when i tell them a cvo badge is vin locked. Always want me to pull the vin off the one they saw on the floor
When Is Harley going to fix all the bugs in the Infotainment system ? 50, 000 for a Harley Davidson and the GPS is full of bugs ? Not to mention huge and I mean Huge depreciation .
CVO needs to be the perfect bike for the owner. It doesn't matter what is on the bike, as long as it's what the purchaser wants. If you have to buy add-ons or upgrades, why waste your money?
And to add, many riders that buy the expensive AF CVO end up walking the bike at low speed like a 3 years old on their bicycle and should invest in courses :) stop focusing on the engine size before you know what to do with it.
The new CVO Street Glide already has a recall for the front end being too light and it gets the wobbles at high speed…..no fix till Feb. 2024 according to Harley Davidson….
Sorry, but I don't buy the BS about being happy with the 117 CVO and in the same year the new gen CVOs are out. We all know the reason why the new models were released in the same year - the impact of the leaked photos. The new CVO design is so popular in my MC that folks are now selling their last gen CVOs and those in the market for a tourer are waiting before upgrading. I also find it interesting that in 2023, on a premium product like a CVO, you still have to 'manually' adjust preload and ride modes changes don't automatically/simultaneously change suspension settings to match and no review by anyone on YT has mentioned this. The HD ride mode set-up is so archaic compared to the truly premium EU brands (except for the Pan America - where HD got it right).
Using the words ordinary or typical with any CVO is downplaying the significance of these bikes. Limited numbers and every extra you can buy from P/A catalog. They are all amazing machines that stand apart from the “ordinary” models
Theres no way thise fairing mounted mirror are better then my 2010 classic handal bar mounted mirrors . An giving up analog gauges foe that ipad dase .....im not resdy yet
I only had CVO models apart the first Harley I owned that was a Road King. And I change bike every year. This 2023 Silver color combo is really boring and sad. I'm going to wait for next year's new color combos before trading in my 2022 CVO.
I still don’t like the look of the new CVOs at all. I understand the improvements, but it doesn’t matter when it’s not a good looking bike. If I wanted an ugly bike I would buy an Indian, BMW or Japanese bike.
A lot of people love the new look and it caters to a younger generation. They are sold out everywhere, which says a lot about a $50k bike. Love the old look but this bike is very true to form with a touch of next gen.
JMHO the new CVOs look like Indian's. Like anything you never want to buy a new production vehicle, need to wait a few years for all the bugs to be worked out.
Agreed - they simply do not look good. Of course this is subjective but the decision for a buyer is crystal clear. Buy a new tech bike or buy old with better looks and cool factor. For what its worth, the Prism supply guy posted a vlog of Brad Richards garage and its pretty clear what Brad thinks is cool - and its not a new CVO.
I like the look of the CVO models, but I would never buy one. They are just more money than I want to put into a bike plus I'm not that big into having every option available. I don't even listen to music when I ride.
Good talking to you guys. Enjoy the CVO!

Suspension sucks on a 22CVO compared to the 23.
Nice man. And thank you for the comment. It's always good to have long-time riders weighing in with their opinion. Thank you
In previous model years, CVO's would come in to my local area dealerships and immediately have "hold" or "sold" signs on them.
Just bought a 2023 Road Glide Standard. It’s all I need.
Thats a great bike. Enjoy. I love the Blue Steel
I was waiting for yall to mention the wheels
That's a huge visual aspect that can't be overlooked!!!
Let's talk about what really matters. Matt no longer has his mustache. 🤣😂 Good podcast guys. Enjoyed the conversation.
I need to grow it back!
As far as I knew you still had it because I was just listening not watching so it was news to me when I just read the comment, either way you're a cool dude Matt.
Matt had a mustache?
Boy does old Nick have that great announcers voice or what. Great video..
Thanks man!
New Harley Davidsons are strictly for cheque book Charlie’s out of control prices for tha working class man. 👍👍👍🇦🇺……. F.T.W
Great vlog. You guys are spot on ref the trickle down of CVO P&A over time. A CVO Lowrider would be awesome. I’d buy one 👍
Thanks for the comment
Once my Pan Am has finally breathed its last breath I need them to make a Pan Am CVO B)
Excellent video and discussion Matt.
Thanks for weighing in.! Good to hear from actual CVO owners.
I still love that magnetic silver fade!!!! Hands down best paint job in my opinion! 💯 great podcast fellas!
Exactly. Went to buy a new bike a couple month ago and ended up buying an old one which is far cooler. Harley may be in trouble.
I never understood why the Road Glide Limited was not a 121.
I love the paint of the anniversary cvo but the new cvo’s are just way better and at a better price
Thanks for weighing-in!
Excellent summary. Thx Matt.
As popular as the Lowrider S and the ST is,I think people would go nuts over a CVO version
Some Great Info Thanks Guys...Once again Awsome Content.
Keep up the Great Work...
👌🇦🇺👌
I was blessed enough to buy my 5th HD, the 2022 Road Glide CVO in blue steel and I am absolutely in love with the bike, having said that I don’t think waiting for the next model year to see what HD brings out before you purchase is a good idea otherwise you will never get a bike. A HD bike purchase should be love at first sight
They need to bring back a CVO Softail. Id be inclined to jump on a CVO Heritage.
I saw the new CVOs at the 120. I was impressed . In my opinion paint could have had more graphics, but overall lots of improved features.
I can’t wait to see the Limited version
Love these videos. Thanks for both of your insight's.
I’m a huge fan of the new body style! I’m excited about where HD is going with the bikes.
They did a good job. 👍🏼 it’s good to hear people are liking them.
Thanks for the comment
And here I am enamored with my stage 2 FLTRX
wouldn’t trade it for anything (I’d love that 135 and the front Ohlins then she’d be done)
I think I may have gone too far with the apples and oranges 🤣
Its like going into a rolls royce dealership and being upset about which model has which engine, its why the joke is that they always just say that the engine is "adequate" for the job.
@@TH3G0ODGUY That’s a lot of apples and oranges lol 😂
@stevelycopolus7696 it's been less and less for quite some time. The fatboy s and dyna low rider s had the same 110 as the cvo for quite a while too
Good conversation y’all.
I own the new 2023 Cvo in whiskey neat and love the bike hopefully soon motor upgrades are coming soon
CVO PanAm!
@@MarcChandler-m9v they had 2 years that were just a gunship grey or a 2 tone version. Very basic. Didn't stand out as a cvo at all
@@Axle-7 I knew you were going to say that, but even those paint schemes were really cool in their simplicity, IMO.
Hoping we get a street glide st next year in the new body style. That bike will be insane.
That would be cool
I prefer the 2019 CVO SG that is had to sell because of health issues , i still miss my 131 CVO it was a killer bike !
This is a awesome video and explained a lot to me I wondered about the new CVO!
Thanks ,
Great video Matt, love the vlog ✌🏼
Thanks man
Great video. I prefer the more recent understated colors for the CVOs... maybe not a popular opinion, but it's mine and I don't care if others have a differing view. To each his own. I'll take the new silver CVO Road Glide over about any CVO. The new tech and body work make all the difference to me.
Personally I've been waiting on a simple silver cvo just happened to be on the improvement year so for me it was win win
The new cvo is a far superior bike in every way
The 120th anniversary Road Glide CVO is a beautiful classy bike that will probably become a collectable in a few years.
I love the look of the new CVO's, HD made a big improvement over the outgoing bodywork. These bikes are out of my Price range, being $30k+ than My Softail was, but they're still pretty cool, and hopefully some of that tech like VVT trickles down to the Softails.
amen. I appreciate the comment
looking forward to the cvo with king bag with the new design and the lcd screen.
Great CVO breakdown guys! It seems to me that they new CVO Street Glide and CVO Road Glide will become the standard touring platforms sooner than later. Am I just hopeful? What are your thoughts? Thanks!!!
Speaking of icon cvo's I would love to see a cvo road king classic with the leather bags and tour pack and ad on a nice batwing fairing.
Most riders that do want more powers actually don’t know what to do with that power! :)
Exactly, to late introduction of new models!
120th anniversary CVO RG should at least came with the 121 instead of 117 for the money they asked.
CVO Bronx?
Great show again, sways
I wish you could get the 120th anniversary paint job would be available on the new bagger✌️
I noticed that on the latest CV0 that they didn't put axle covers on , it makes the bike look much better when they put them on, should go back to putting them on I think 🤔 👍👍
Hmm. Yea it should have axel covers. I didn’t notice that.
@MattLaidlaw its the little things that are important I think, really enjoyed you & Nick's conversation, you both know what you're talking about, well done guys 👍👍
What happened to the Stash Matt?
The 16 was a good analogy. The 15 cvo was the exact same bike with tire pressure monitoring added in 2016😮 if you can't be with the one you love, love the one you're with... things change 🎉
At least once a month, somebody gets upset with me at the counter when i tell them a cvo badge is vin locked. Always want me to pull the vin off the one they saw on the floor
🤣😂 we’ve gotten that request too.
What about bringing back the Roadking Standard for the average blue collar worker. Would love to own a new RoadKing Standard.
Myself and my friends used to buy Harley's, however none of us can afford them anymore and this has been the norm for years...
The new dash on the CVO’s is sooooo nice. It makes the Indian dash look like a 1980’s car dash 😂😂😂😂😂🤘⚡️🤘🤭🤭🤭🤭
Whats up Dave!! Yes sir
Matt, what are your thoughts on the news that HD plans on selling - direct to customer - in the future?
It was a rumor
Polaris is supposedly going that route with the Indian brand trying to cut costs but it's a bad business move for whoever tries to go this route.
@@mojomanmurph1925that was also a rumor that was dispelled by the company. Don't believe everything you see online
Direct sales makes sense for those customers who simply want to pay the MSRP and don’t enjoy the game of negotiating for the “best deal”.
@RoadieWingZZ no it Doesn't. That's less people in dealerships buying gear which is where they make most of their money
Using the words ordinary or typical with any CVO is downplaying the significance of these bikes. Limited numbers and every extra you can buy from P/A catalog. They are all amazing machines that stand apart from the “ordinary” models
CVO Road King..
I think of Chevrolet a few years back when they put the SS on too many vehicles, even the cheap ones. Kind of cheapens the trim level.
Theres no way thise fairing mounted mirror are better then my 2010 classic handal bar mounted mirrors . An giving up analog gauges foe that ipad dase .....im not resdy yet
And now the Sporty bro
You'd be in the minority among most of my group
Agreed - they simply do not look good. Of course this is subjective but the decision for a buyer is crystal clear. Buy a new tech bike or buy old with better looks and cool factor. For what its worth, the Prism supply guy posted a vlog of Brad Richards garage and its pretty clear what Brad thinks is cool - and its not a new CVO.
Indian ain’t ugly duh
I like the look of the CVO models, but I would never buy one. They are just more money than I want to put into a bike plus I'm not that big into having every option available. I don't even listen to music when I ride.
