@@MotionUX we use dot lottie and it's way smaller for large animations. I think that's upside for lottie files. if your animations are going in a App then it have a great impact on App size.
@@MotionUX recently lottiefiles exported json animation with 2MB size, while bodymovin plugin exported same animation with 200KB size with zero error 😅
Does Bodymoving allow for buttons and clickable interactivity on the exported files? Since the removal of Flash is there another way to send those FLA animations (with buttons and interactivity included) as a single file like we used to do back in the day? I remember making whole websites I could send via email in 1 file. Is there a way to do that today in 2024 without having the content hosted online through 3rd party service or domain?
Let's consider that in today's world of subscriptions, if we want to use many interesting features and programs, each one costs around $20. Multiply that by 5 subscriptions, and it adds up to a significant amount
omg lottiefiles plugin is a paywall facade
Seems to be that way…
I'd still prefer bodymovin 😅
Same! That was my conclusion in the vid. better and no pay walls for features that are foundational to the function of the plugin.

Definitely a plus, but the pay wall and export issues would drive me to just use the Lottie Files website converter from .json to dotlottie.

Absolutely. Essentially any type of web based input trigger that is available you can use to control the Lottie file playback.

Absolutely. It gets to be a bit much…
No reason at all to use the lottiefiles plugin...at all....
Would tend to agree at this point, If they dropped the paywalls, It could be potentially a better experience than BodyMovin.
