Hi, my husband and I have a 21' 1985 Sunrader with the infamous 22R engine, recently rebuilt. My husband redid the camper electric and plumbing system. It has a composting toilet, solar panels and we simplified the electric with a bluetti. The interior was average on ours, and for now, we just painted it all white, and I made new cushions throughout. The truck portion seems very sound. We plan on taking it out this spring and summer for short trips, and hopefully some full timing next winter. I look forward to seeing how you rebuild the interior. Ours has the rear dinette, which I love, and cannot wait to have my morning coffee, looking at the desert sky!
82, 21 ft, California edition here! Looking forward to watching how you progress. Waiting for warmer weather to finally get primer on. Oh and that spot on my floor was destroyed from missing a muffler + water damage.
Been watching your Sunrader 4x4 build videos over tge last few days. Im blown away that you don't have 100k subscribers and millions of views per video? You present at the highest level, great speaking voice and camera presentations, subject matter is spot on, your close to an Ed China of 4x4 rebuild authority and presentation. Look, I've watched a lot of build vids and lately a lot of Sunrader/ Toyota MH builds and you appear to be a " Top Best" authority. You also add a great couple/ thing that should add female DIY viewers plus your wife adds a great cute factor / back and forth couple(s) banter thing. So, what zim getting to is " I don't get it" ya all should be killing the high viewership analytics and although I'm not a TH-cam analytics expert I was a e-commerce expert and drove a top hardware retailer to the top spot in a matter of months. I have a few videos on my 1977 Airstream Argosy 28 motorhome I restored and although I've never tried to promote it, its managed to garner somewhere over 20k views for a MH thats so rare, that it has very few that even know they exist. But, it has a killer BBC 454 to 496 with long tube headers and so much more. It attracts a lot of attention on its beastly sound and odd looks. Anyway, TH-cam, you need to get this guys videos into a better position of viewership and promotion. P.S. maybe some product call outs and links ... promotion might increase your analytics. That is if thats what you want because it looks like you have a great business model to gain business volume. Good luck. Love what your doing.
Im also restoring a 1987 Toyota Sunrader . Pretty fair amount of water damage in the front bunk over cab and rear floor. Got that gutted out and rebuilding floor supports and such. Keep it up my friend. Wish I lived close enough to visit your shop. Im in the mountains of eastern Kentucky on my humble horse farm. I have an awesome 82 ft by 64 shop.
perfecttimi9ng,im getting ready to do a remodel chassis swap,finding a tundra for the chassis is proving to be difficult,so my plan is to extend the frame on a 77 cherokee chief,have you ever heard of anyone trying this swap?im gonna try the remodel using the foam panel system ive seen on y tube,curious to see you remodel i have some ideas for the 21'of space,my floor has the same hump,and passenger side seems to be sagging a little,gotta get gutting it this week so look forward to next vid,go sunrader
