Thank you Mike for your lesson every week! We do the small groups with Explore the Bible also at our church. Your lessons help me to dive deeper into the lesson. I love those diagrams of the synagogue. I have never had it explained that way! Beverly thank you for your hymns 🥰
Hi Mike, thank you very much for your ministry. At 67, I am a fairly new Christian. I attend Sunday School class and worship service every week. We have a very good teacher and learn a lot. Once every 2-3 months, he will want a break and asks a class member to teach. When I am chosen I get very nervous and pray for guidance. I also turn to your lessons because they are so well done and easy for me to follow and understand. I want you to know how much they help me.
Thank you so much for this lesson. You showed me so much in how the tabernacle is a preview of our salvation and the Church age. WOW!!! Thank you Thank you. May God bless you and your wife.
Thank you, Mike, for how you guide us through the Scriptures. Your application is so helpful. Thanks too for the two hymns you suggested. Our class is trying to sing a hymn or two each week. Appreciate you and Beverly so!! God bless!
Hello Mike and Beverly, Thanks again for your inspirational and insightful lessons. There has been much discussion and confusion in our class concerning the multiple times that God said He would kill anyone if they saw His face. It was repeated many times during Moses' encounter with God on Mt. Sinai. We have concluded and in my research that Moses did not see God "face to face", yet you stated at the end of this lesson that he did. Here is what I wrote in my lesson plan. Please comment. “Seeing” God must be interpreted carefully in the context of Scripture. Moses requested in Ex 33:18-33 to “see God’s glory”. God allowed him to see only His passing “presence” because to see God’s face would require Moses to be killed. John 1:18 affirmed that no human has ever seen God, though Jesus revealed what the father is “like” through His life on earth. John said later that when we do “see” Him, we will be like Him and see Him as He is (1 John 3:2). In my opinion, If we say that we “see” God in nature or some other situation, it is a way of expressing that that we deeply “feel” His presence. What do you think? May God continue to bless your and Beverly's ministry. Thomas
