You're welcome J. I think when I do this, I'll bore a hole in the leg big enough to allow the entire foot to tuck up inside completely recessed. That way, it isn't visible. I won't be able to "lock" it with the nuts, however, it would be far less visible. Thanks for this.

One advantage is that it can be locked in place. This makes sure it doesn't lose its adjustment. It also makes the table feel sturdier.
