Love how they include the long instrumental buildup. The version played on the Top 40’s stations where they jump to the vocals are so jarring for this beautiful song.
Got the 12" of this when I was at Uni. I used to turn off all the lights in my flat, lay on my back in the middle of the floor and crank it up to max. Happy days. They sound brilliant now, not lost it at all. Superb 🥰🥰

I grew up in California too and I remember listening to this on KROQ in Southern California in the 90's. Such a bad ass song and it took me a while to find it.
Great to see them back. Vocalist used to have more passion and sharpness in tone. Why not keep the snap? This song should never show any sign of fatigue. NewWave was one foot in present and other today. The new generation is young and on fire ~

Certain songs have that distinct beginning to recognize the song....Nowhere girl is among the best. B-Movie is underrated 80's band.
