I think you just need to know where to find them. Some of the guys in the competitions I've been entering have been reeling them in like no tomorrow all winter! Not me though 😅
You will see how it goes in the future! Worth noting the cranking reel does 48cm per wind which I think is quite a bit less than typical brand name reels

Try slow down your retrieve on the cranks mate add in some pauses.
