Hello, my friends! I'm so glad you could join me for today's video! And I hope this video will inspire you to have some fun shopping your stash! As promised in the video, here's a link to another video I thought you might especially enjoy. I not only need to shop my stash, but organize it better and do a declutter. Thank you for another fun video. Your finished look is beautiful! Have a great weekend!
Hi, Paula--I think organizing and decluttering is one of those projects that feels daunting, but once you get into it, it can feel so good when you've completed it. It's a little like cleaning makeup brushes which I procrastinated about doing until this morning. Glad you enjoyed the video and I hope you have a fabulous weekend.
Loved today's video, Elise. You *own* that bright berry/raspberry/deep pink lip colour! 🩷💜 I'm actually in the process of reviewing my stash piece by piece, then making some hard decisions as to what to do with everything! I have so many products that I've never even used, it's embarrassing. But I know I'll feel better once that job is done, so I keep plugging away...!
Hi, Sue--Congratulations on going through your stash. It's definitely a challenging process, but I'm sure you're right that you'll feel a whole lot better once it's done. I was so glad to get out of my lipstick rut. I have so many that are just pretty ornaments on my bathroom vanity. But I've resolved to pull them out for future videos. Have a wonderful weekend.
Hi Elise! This was a fun video. The only older products I have to bring out would be eyeshadow palettes. Tarte In Bloom is one I used to reach for a lot but haven’t touched in a year or more. I’ve had a really busy day today and am too tired to think of anything else. Comparing the concealers would be an interesting video. Thanks for this one today. I enjoyed it very much. Have a great weekend!❤
Hi, Lisa--You've reminded me that I really have to go through my eyeshadow palettes. Thank you! There are way too many that haven't been used in ages or that I found I really didn't enjoy that much after purchasing them. But, it's always a good idea to give them another try before making the final declutter decision. I think a decluttering video is in my future! I hope you have a fabulous weekend, my friend.
Hi, Mary Ann--I'm so glad I've provided some inspiration. I really wish I could actually toss a few of the products I used, but I always wonder if they might come in handy for a future video lol. I have so many lipsticks that never get worn and that will definitely change in upcoming videos!
Thanks, Dez--I'm actually embarrassed by the number of palettes that haven't seen the light of day for months or even years. Hopefully my resolution to change that will "stick." I'll look forward to seeing what palettes you'll be using.
Hi, Sherry--Glad to hear you were able to sleep in and hope that will help you get over that cold faster. Do you by chance use Zicam? That product has helped everyone in my family avoid some colds, but I think it has to be used when the first symptoms show up to be effective. How wonderful that you had fun switching out your eyeshadow palettes. The change of seasons always presents us with such fun new makeup opportunities. Have a wonderful weekend, my friend.
Love shopping my stash and have vowed to stop buying new stuff (I'm like one of those magpies when it comes to "Oooo, LOOK! Something shiny!" when it comes to makeup). Onlyva couple weeks ago when i was out grocery shopping, i schmoozed through the makeup section and found 3 lipstick colors that i thought were gorgeous, so i bought them ....only to get home and find out that, apparently, i thought so at some earlier tome as i already HAD those 3 shades in my stash...😂😂😂 Anyway, im trying to clear out some old stuff i dont use (a couple of foundations that i loved at first but which tended to oxidise on my skin, or else separate noticeably for example). I think a color correction face-off (ha ha see what i did there?) would be a great video. Looking forward to seeing it!!
Oh my gosh, Johanna, I've done the very same thing! I hope you were able to return those lipsticks. Because this has happened to me as well, it's the very reason why I always find out if makeup is returnable at the places where I shop--just in case! lol I definitely share your "magpie" reflex as well! I'm trying really hard not to impulse buy online by waiting a day and then going back to look at it to see if I'm still as excited about it. Sometimes this works . . . and sometimes it doesn't! I'm being a little dense because I'm not sure what you mean by a color correction face off--but I'd really like to know because I'm always on the hunt for great video ideas. Have a wonderful weekend, my friend.
@@EliseMarquamJahns Well, "color corrector face-off"....when you compare different brands of color correctors. And by "face-off, I meant when in hockey you have the puck drop and 2 players are faced off against each to get control of the puck. A terrible pun I admit. I think trying different brands of color correctors (how well do they correct, quality, price, how well they hold up etc. That kind of thing ....)
Nice to review your old favourites. I had a nice lipstick called Portofino by Sisley which is used up now. It’s a bit expensive though I’m not buying much makeup right now as I want to use up what I have.
Hi, Mary Rose--It is so much fun to go in and take a look at what we already have--and it's a nice reminder to actually use it! lol Any lipstick called "Portofino" has to be gorgeous! Have a wonderful weekend.

Beautiful look, Elise - I need to review my old palettes as they've had short shrift over the last few months, or even years!

Great video. How are you? I'm good. I slept in today. I have a cold. Just chilling. I switched out my palettes for Fall. That was EXCITING!
