@@TheOpinionarium yeah the collar does a pretty good job protecting the button. I was moving boxes and put my keys in the same pocket with the light. A key happened to push it when I was picking up a box. Luckily it didnt turn on turbo, but high ramp gets pretty toasty too. Lesson learned.
I'm so excited, I just ordered the titanium D4v2 with the amber switch and back light. Actually this is my first hank light. I'm tired of paying ridiculous money for custom flashlights and most of them are not capable as most hank lights. Great video, very helpful 👍
any light with anduril is just as capable as any hanklight while probably being more durable. dont expect the tailcap to last the life of the lights. they wont. ive had to replace multiple lens and multple clips as well as having to replace all four of the tailcaps for the emisars i have. these arent work lights at all, they are simply enthusiast lights
Dude, a year later and I’m so excited because I just ordered my first one and I went with a white body, three channel d4k with two 519a 4500k dedomed in channel one and then a deep red in channel two and a deep blue in channel three. Now to settle in for the wait. So a year later, was it as good as you were hoping?
Brass looks good, but it’s not a very practical metal for a flashlight. (Nor is titanium.) Sometimes the cheapest and most common metal is actually the best one for the job.
Brother go on illumination supply and order Sony (VTC)6 believe I paid $ 12.00 dollars,for 2 batteries the Sony vtc5 are ok too just the VTC6 been considered the best 18650 battery forever at least since vaping came around hope not too late

If you’re looking for a good all around edc with a pleasant beam but decent power, I recommend the SST-20 4000k. A lot of people recommend it because it’s efficient, bright and somewhat throwy. Just try the optic it comes with, if you want something floodier, add the extra floody optic to your order as well. Aluminum is my recommendation as a starter. Its the lightest and I think most practical. If you’re looking for more power, try the W2 or the Xpl High.

they are NOT the best light on the market at all. they are not work lights and are not durable. ive had multiple emisars just shit the bed immediately. there are much better options for work lights that arent gaudy pocket rockets. having a 4k lumen light that immediately starts dimming isnt a good light at all. if you want to shock someone with how bright a light is, you are correct. this isnt the best light of any year
Agreed. Love Hanklights but they're toys at the end of the day, which CAN be useful but only in certain circumstances. If I wanted a light for regular practical use I'd get a Zebralight or a Wurkkos

Just dont keep it in a pocket with other small items that can push on the switch. I almost burned my nuts off once 😂
