@@kylejarmolych That's sorta my issue a bit. I do like older Chevelle, but they seem to suffer from the same problem Breaking Benjamin does. All the songs sound like they could've come off of any one of their other albums. That's fine to an extent, but after ~20 years, I'd hope to see _some_ degree of songwriting progression, some experimenting within the style. It doesn't need to be as drastic as say, BMTH's writing over the years, but it's certainly possible to stick too closely to ones roots, and that's coming from someone who can't seem to break out of her own songwriting cage hahah.
@@LexiPixeL_ I can respect that. I actually used the exact same words you did that the songs could’ve came off any of the older albums when describing it to my dad. As someone who grew up with chevelle during their progression (Listened to wonder what’s next in the car ride to preschool when it came out haha) I just love this and it gives me good childhood memories of all of the other albums coming out.
