Can you make this same video, but with radios? I am trying to find the best radio as a beginner. something that will give me lots of capability but also push me to learn more and how to use it. I dont want to exceed the radio in 6 months.
Hoping to do one here soon. Have not had much time to dedicate to my channel for the past few months. Hoping to try to do one shortly after the first of the year.
best "bang for the buck" antenna I own. I also use it on my mast for 2m SSB/digital, "DX" repeater and simplex work. I've made mountain top 2M FM contacts approx. 75 miles with 5 watts. I heard the "Alaskan Arrow" has enough Db gain to work the MEO SAT greencube IO-117. Fast with Parts and shipping too, cant say enough good things

@@smbrown thank you for the feedback. I plan to upload some good passes with this antenna soon. I do have a video up on the channel of my first ISS contact using this antenna. Most of the passes I’ve worked have been at night under poor lighting conditions, so I didn’t want to use dark video where you can’t see what I am doing. Looks like a great antenna. Looking to get one with more elements to chase the Greencube satellite
They actually make one for the GreenCube satellite. I did a video with Arrow Antenna at Dayton a few videos back on the channel.

I got the same antenna, sans duplexer, since I had one laying around, a great choice

Have you tried this to capture NOAA or Meteor-M2 sat imagery?
Great antenna, I still use mine for portable operations.
What radio are you using with it?
How well would it work with a Baofeng UV5R 8W HT?
