Has anypne used this plugin recently and can anyone let me know if its possible to set up a minimum cart total amount (minimum order) for each shipping zone alongside the custom shipping cost? If not does anyone know of any alternative to do that?

It would be wise to ask about it from the plugin support team. Usually they respond quickly.

Sir, your best lecture I follow you, could publish get customer location in text box when clicking customer current location but only like a snippet code for woocommerce?

You can look into the geolocation JavaScript API which lets you get a user's location from their browser. It doesn't give you a map or anything, just Latitude and Longitude. The plugin in the video has all this and more including plotting the coordinates on a map so you can see where the order should be delivered.

    Thanks for this useful information!
    I have some questions:
    - It's posible to define region using a file (kml, shp) instead drawing it? I have a large number of areas that I would like to define and it would take me a long time to draw them.
    - Is there a limit to the number of regions?
    - And finally, my site is a bit slow, does the plugin require a speedy site to work properly?
    Thanks in advance!

      Hi,
I redirected your questions to the developer and here are his answers:
Unfortunately no, the plugin does not currently have any way to import regions, they need to be drawn manually. Each region is an array of coordinates, so in theory, if a user is to just create an array of different regions and their coordinates, and overwrite the option in the database with the new one that contains all the region data, then the plugin would load it just fine once the array is in the correct format.
This user would have to get a developer or something to create the needed array out of the data they already have. But there’s issues that can happen because all regions NEED to be a polygon…so if the regions do not close the final vertice…then it’s not really a region and the issues might arise.
There’s no limit on how many regions can be created. But of course the more regions, the larger the array, and the more searching PHP has to do to find which region the current coordinates falls within. But unless we’re talking about thousands or tens of thousands of complex regions with lots of vertices then this should be no issue and the operations would take seconds regardless.
      --
About speed of the site…the plugin uses Ajax at checkout to do it’s different logic in the background, such as pulling the price for a region, distance price calculation, determining whether to hide or show the map etc.
If the users site is slow then the plugin would also naturally be slow because these operations are just like other operations that happen when the site loads and actually depend on the speed of the server in performing those tasks and returning the results.

@wp what about multivendor platform will this work as different vendors are in different areas can we setup this ?

    • @uriahsvictor8543
      @uriahsvictor8543 ปีที่แล้ว

Hi, unfortunately there's no explicit support for multivendor plugins at this time. The plugin works as normal and would show the map on the checkout page and in the admin order view, but there's no support for segregating the functionality between different vendors (so that they can set their own options) etc.
LPAC has no official support for any multivendor plugin but maybe some time in the future.
