- In this video I’ll show you how to put your Woocommerce shop in "Request a quote" mode without any fancy plugin. It’s going to take only a couple of small code snippets and a couple of lines of CSS code. So, let’s dive in.

@@wpsimplehacks I only have one problem. when sending a request, the message "address field is required" appears. I tried to generate a function that disables required address fields, but it doesn't work. Do you have any idea how to fix it?

I got a question, is this only working with the theme you're using? I got a page with Divi as theme, and it seems not to work or do I miss something?

Most likely Divi is overriding default Woocommerce hooks and this is the reason it’s not working. It would be wise to ask about it from the Divi support team.

Is there a way to maintain both functionalities? For example, is it possible to have one button in the shopping cart to be able to continue with the payment and another to submit the order as a quote request?
Not with my code. There are plugins for that, though.
I would like both, so the user can buy his total basket and/or make a quote is this also possible?

Thanks sir, is there a way that you can redirect the users to an overview page? Now they need to fill in an adres first. My qoute got 100+ items so they need to over view it first.
Skip the part where the user is redirected to the checkout instead of the cart. Now your cart page is this overview page.

Maybe one of the plugins or the theme you are using is overriding the default hooks of Woocommerce?

Unfortunately, there is no easy way to accomplish this. You would need to create a child theme and then modify Woocommerce email templates. Another workaround: disable "Processing order" emails that are sent to customers.

Hi, most of the codes are not working after woocommerce updated the checkout. Could you please share the updated code snippets? I really need it soon.
Just tested and it works as displayed in the video. Be sure not to use Woocommerce Checkout block and use [woocommerce_checkout] shortcode. Checkout block doesn,t play well with 3rd party plugins and overrides default Woocommerce hooks and filters.

Followed everything to a T and it works so well, except for one thing. The checkout button has stopped working
Maybe there’s a conflict woth your theme. Could you check whether it works with the default Wordpress Twenty Twenty-four theme?
After that how can we send out quote back to customer for payment?

This is one of the best videos I've seen, thank you very much for your contribution. I have a slight issue, though. When trying to remove the ".multiply-symbol" which has the symbol "+" in the dropdown cart, nothing happens. It's worth noting that the word "Subtotal" did get deleted. Unfortunately, that icon isn't being removed.
My theme is blocksy and I used the code you left on your website (#woo-cart-panel .woocommerce-mini-cart__total, .multiply-symbol { display: none; }).
