No one ever talks about cutting the welfare budget or the 150 billion dollars per year spent on illegal immigrants or the trillions we give in foreign aid to countries that despise us. Defund the EPA, department of education, Dept of energy, ATF, IRS. Smaller government and closed borders along with mass deportations would be a great plan.

The lack of affordable housing is unsustainable. The private sector is unable or unwilling to solve the problem. We don't need to completely socialize housing, but we do need to expand public housing. We need highrise apartment complexes, not half-million dollar homes. Once the initial investment is made, public housing tenants will be a major block of voters, and rent will be a major source of city revenue.
Guess who pays to maintain said public housing? Taxpayers. Several blocks of public housing get demolished every year because the tenants do so much damage to them it's cheaper than trying to repair them. NO MORE. LBJ started this disaster and it needs to come to a screeching halt.
