Cheeze Face flotilla of speedboats and fast moving yachts should have left Nassau with aid 6 a.m. the next day after the storm left Injured should have returned to Nassau the next evening on fast craft. Healthy evacuees should have returned on barges, mailboats and other ships
If I had the chance to leave I would just leave even if the power was back on because those hurricanes will come back it’s not safe the people are still sitting on land with no water or nothing basically have to wait till people come to the door and what about those small islands🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️

corruption is a way of life in the Bahamas. All relief goods are supposed to go through Nassau before getting to the areas of greatest need. that gives the authorities the opportunity to take whatever they want first. Be cautious with your donations. Some private reliefs shipments destined for Abaco and ManOWar have already been hijacked.
Private boats are taking supplies to the Abacos - they know not to wait on government! Everyone is getting help from private sources, including Haitians . Yes corruption is bad there - better to bypass the officials- look for private small direct sources to help out.
