Overjoyed to hear your journey truly began once you realized He was the way you were going to get through it all! Trust has always been such a problem for me, but everyday I'm learning more and more that I just have to trust God through it all, and give it all to Him!

Omg the place you did inpatient sounds amazing. The place I was at was like a prison/hospital kind of vibe and I hated every second of it. Loved this video and all the information you said. Your story is very inspiring and keep up the amazing job you are doing in recovery!

dang the blood test - one nurse took it so poorly that she caused some nerve damage in my hand coz of the way she took my blood.
Also, omg exercising in the shower. I kept doing it till they gave me two options - (1) have the nurse watch me in the shower throughout while I was butt naked or (2) rush my only shower in the day in 5 minutes. The silly stuff we did back then gosh

My first treatment was in a university hospital and I experienced the blood spurt situation when I student took my blood. Actually slightly hilarious

I wanted to go to remuda but couldn't afford it, even though they offered me like 40% scholarship. Sounds like a great experience.

    Hi Stephanie

I went to Remuda Ranch in 2016 and they changed a lot. Luckily I didn't get a feeding tube but I basically faked the whole time in treatment. The only thing that would get me through meal time was listening to my favorite band and bless the other patients because they were the sweetest when it came to me listening to 5SOS. It was the only thing that calmed me down or made me stop crying. We would play a lot of games and we would ask the nurses to tell us stories and they actually told us about the red, yellow, and green stages. We had stop, hope, (something I can't remember), healing, and life. I only got to the third level because I stayed there for the bare minimum because of my insurance. They changed the eating situation each house has to eat in the house's kitchen. We did have a therapy dog that I grew to love and everyone was like "Omg Abby when you leave you will have separation anxiety from ally" and I was like I know and I did. I remember the first night I was there and Ally jumped on my bed and slept with me until I fell asleep. One day my dad was in Phoenix for a meeting and he came really late at night and Ally flipped out she started barking (She use to be abused by men) and when I came back inside she followed me and jumped on my bed again because she thought I got hurt. We also had equine therapy which was so nice. Everyone after family week gets to go on outings but get this I WAS THE ONLY ONE WHO DIDN'T GO ON ANY OUTINGS BECAUSE I LEFT RIGHT AFTER FAMILY WEEK. UGHHHH. But basically we didn't get to choose if we wanted this or that for meals except for grab and go's which meant if we were doing something like the ropes course or equine and we needed something really quick we will make it the day before. We also had chores which was not as bad because we had so much fun doing them. Overall my experience was amazing except I wasn't in recovery mode so I basically relapsed and that is where I am right now

I had to have my blood taken every morning when I was in the hospital to check for levels of shit bc I was having heart problems and my other levels needed checking and I have thin deep veins and it would take up to ten nurses and over fifty pricks for them to get it. I hated it!!! Then they had to start bringing in heat packs and other shit to get my veins to come up. It was insane!

Did you ever wonder if you hadn’t been homeschooled this couldn’t have happened? I’m asking because I, not so recently been diagnosed with chronic Lyme and scoliosis and my leg is paralyzed. So I am now homeschooled. And I never had eating problems before homeschool. What do you think? 🏫

Where you bloated at this time? I gained really fast in my inpatient treatment time and all the weight was in my stomach and face? How did you deal with that? I’ve heard it could take over a year to redistribute and I’m so scared of that...
