    *Great review 👍*
    What microphone did you use for this video and mic chain??

    • @ArtVideoProductions
      @ArtVideoProductions  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Main mic is a Tascam TM-PC1 Condenser mic, which is no longer made but you can buy on eBay I guess. The clip on mic I was wearing is a Godox MoveLink which consists of TWO receivers. Here’s the review I made of it th-cam.com/video/Ircvig85_-Y/w-d-xo.html

    They also give you small diffuser with the light - you’d recommend leaving it off when using the the lantern soft box? Thanks!

    • @ArtVideoProductions
      @ArtVideoProductions  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I’m not sure what you mean by “small diffuser”. All I received is the light and the lantern softbox.

    • @ChrisMinorOfficial
      @ChrisMinorOfficial 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ArtVideoProductions it’s like a hard shell cup - diffuser that’s extremely small it goes into the bowens mount and is about 3 inches off the lens (to provide some protection as well it seems)- I believe they show it in one of the photos on the amazon link you provide because I just picked it up after watching this through your recommendation (thanks btw the light is great!)

    • @ArtVideoProductions
      @ArtVideoProductions  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@ChrisMinorOfficial that hard shell, even though the say it’s for diffusion, DO N O T use that other than for protecting the LED chip and only for storing the light, off. If you do use it, the amount of heat that will accumulate will possible damage the light and also dangerous in my opinion.

    Hi there!
    First of all, great channel. You give in 5 minutes as much informations as other channels in 30!!! I immediatelly subscribed.
    I have just one question (of course if you can answer to this). Is there a big difference in fan noise, comparing 100 and 150W model?

    • @ArtVideoProductions
      @ArtVideoProductions  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi, sorry I only tested the 150, I don't have the 100watts

    • @pizo12
      @pizo12 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Ok, thanks for quick reply!!
      One more thing. How many hours should such light normally endure (and lets say not on max power) before the lights die?

    • @ArtVideoProductions
      @ArtVideoProductions  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@pizo12 It will take a LONG time for these lights to die even at 100%. Most LED light of this price can last at least 50K hours. This is something I don’t even think about with any of my pieces I have.

  • @umuti5ik
    @umuti5ik 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    This seems to be cheaper than the bi-color 100W model you reviewed also. How would you compare the two? Is there any reason to buy the 100W over this one?

    • @ArtVideoProductions
      @ArtVideoProductions  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      This one (PR150R) is 150 watts over the other one being 100watts, which is brighter, plus it has RGB.

    • @umuti5ik
      @umuti5ik 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ArtVideoProductions thank you! Looks like it’s strictly better. What about noise levels and minimal brightness?

    • @ArtVideoProductions
      @ArtVideoProductions  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@umuti5ik noise levels are fairly decent. You can hear the fan but it won’t ruin the sound. Have is at a minimum of 3’ away and use a directional mic, not an omnidirectional lavaliere.
      The light at 1% brightness you ask, is super MINIMAL, which is useful for when you need for anything that requires low brightness like nighttime time lapses etc.

    What app did you use. My light will not connect.

    • @ArtVideoProductions

      Every single GVM light comes with those yellow stickers on the light itself, and with the app name and or QR code. GVM II

    Quick question: Did your lamp come on automatically when you turn the ON/OFF switch to ON? Just checking before I return the GVM-PR150R to Amazon.

    • @ArtVideoProductions
      @ArtVideoProductions  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      YES. The power will come on if you let the switch set to ON, just like any other device that has a analog switch. I have at least 8 light panels that will do the same. The correct thing to do is, turn the power switch to OFF when not in use.
      The power switch is there for a reason. On/off. If you forget the switch set to ON and plug the light in the outlet, of course it will automatically turn on.

    Hello, I want to ask about the flickering effect when taking pictures - I tried lights from another manufacturer and at shutter speeds shorter than 1/100sec there were streaks in the photo - does this light have this problem or not? Thanks in advance

    • @ArtVideoProductions
      @ArtVideoProductions  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you set the light to 100% power there shouldn’t be s problem with 90% of todays lights. Unless the light you tried was a generic led
