  • This video shows how to derive the voltage gain of a common drain circuit using the small signal model. I show a step by step and some simplification that make derivation more easier to derive.     Raunag Sawhney, That is a good catch. My compliment to you in spotting the error. There should be a RT in the numerator as well.

    Great videos, your explanations make it easy for a non electrical major to understand. I would say you could hold the mic a little closer... or use some type of amplifier :^) thanks!

    Sir, you forgot to write RT=(R1|| R2) in the numerator of first simplified equation.
