Account me first name mera hai maine agreement pe signature kar diye hai fir bank vale locker oprate nhi krne de rahe , unka kahna hai ki jab tak joint holder ka signature nhi hota ap oprate nhi kar sakte. What If I have a locker in Mumbai Bank of XYZ bank and my job gets transferred to Bangalore, so in this case can the bank allow us to get it transferred to a nearby branch in Bangalore?
What if the bank has waived the locker rent as part of some benefit? For example, HDFC Preferred gives a 50% discount while HDFC Imperia gives a 100% discount on locker rent.
same query as i have hdfc imperia and my locker rent is zero.

Wrong information about:
1. Category of locker size is four.
2. Fixed deposit should be insisted to the value of Cover locker rent is 3 years and charges for breaking open locker.
3. Charges payment at the time of hiring the locker is current year pro-rata rent + 1 year rent in advance + registration charge + GST.
SBI bank have taken locker rent in advance for whole year(April2024-March2025). Now if I close the locker in May 2024 will i get remaining rent back? Pls reply

Easy access to lockers is a MYTH in India !! There is no set price for a locker, regardless of whether you live in a city or a rural area. You can ask the branch manager for proof of the rules he is referring to, such as JARGON, but he won't be able to do so and won't even be able to speak to an unbiased individual. All of them fulfill their targets (ULIP, FD etc. worth 1 lakh /2 lakh per year scheme) by taking advantage of the needs of their clients.
