Edd’s cool / fun personality and his expertise is what made Wheeler Dealers so much fun to watch. He’s also a Corvette expert and has repaired / rebuilt dozens and owns many.
When Brewer first started Wheeler Dealers in the UK he was little more than a rogue car flipper. He did all the things that these days says only cowboys do. He bought very cheap bet up old cars and spent as little as possible before selling claiming all the work was done. A quick oil and filter change that Edd did, were then classed as a full refurbishment. His favourite rip off was getting replacement rear parcel shelves from scrap yards and spray painting them black. Then when sold the car he told the new owner these back parcel shelves are incredibly difficult to source! Mr Brewer never did any of the work but “sourced” the replacement parts usually from scrap yards. It was common to replace one shock absorber, second hand of course, and not 2 because that costs money. Even though you are supposed to replace shock absorbers in pairs.
Mike Brewer started to talk negatively about Ed when out in the public. That's why many people dislike Mike including me. P.s I've seen the clip and Mike backstabed him.
As soon as I found out wot brewer did to ed I quit watching wheeler dealers right away many co workers did too. Glad we is doing well such a decent bloke
It's a shame the American wheeler dealers series changed the format Edd worked with to force the split only for the series to be canceled out there a few years later ,Mike has kept the series going back here in the UK but with a new co host in Edd's position,it's still fun ! Edd pops up in all sorts of car related shows the late break and car so s he likes to tinker on a workshop level we all hope he continues.

The Show moved there for 6 years and as planned at the end of 6 years it came back to the UK, ( Mike Brewer had a life to get back to in the UK too it was never a permanent move) Ant left because he had been married and divorced in America but had a young son there so didn’t want to move back to the IK again, it’s that simple
I still watch wheeler deal shows. But it’s not the same without Edd. I also believe that Mike Brewer that the show is more about him than the vehicles and the rest of the team
Mike Brewer makes me cringe every time I see him (for a few secs) on tv. Ed was always number 1 in that duo. This is a great video, and I love watching Ed but the narration is terrible. 🙈

Even the built up net worth is modest. Just pretty much showed him to be a ordinary and very nice bloke that most people already knew Edd was.

Well this shows his hands on vehicle experience was limited by his hunt to appear on TV shows for years before WD’s. He hasn’t been picked up by any UK shows so must of upset people in the tv industry
