Cool bag. I might buy one. But I don't get why EG puts the hydration hose sleeve on the straps. I mean, the number of people who will ever use a bag like this with a hydration pack must be extremely low. People who buy bags like this aren't looking to hike with them. Bag people own lots of bags, and a bag for every use case.
I hate dangling straps, I find them irritating and annoying. I’d put velcro strap keepers on to cut down on that. Otherwise, this is a very good bag. Good size and organization.
This review is actually for the CPL24 V2, not V3 as indicated in the intro of the video. Good catch everyone, and apologies for the confusion!
One of the best backpacks ever. Can't wait to receive my CTB26 Phoenix. For me it's an upgrade to the CPL on the last points of the wishlist.
It’s definitely the V2. The material and back panel are the v2. They stated it’s the v3 but it doesn’t have any of the updates.

Isn't this the V2 of the CPL?
What are your thoughts on the durability of the back panel?
12inch depth edc is WILD. Waiting for smaller cpl.
axes is plural, which was used in cases where axis was meant. #PSA
This vs aer cpp?
V2*
That’s a V2 not a V3 lol 😂
