That would have been terrifying to witness: a velociraptor breaking into a hospital in the middle of the night and feeding on helpless patients...
THIS! Literally just seeing that image sends shivers up my spine. Seeing a 65 million year old predator stalking in what's supposed to be one of the safest places on Earth, where people are just at their most vulnerable is so utterly wrong it makes my brain send a fear response.
Imagine the person lying in bed trying to control their breathing and be quiet watching the shadow walking past with their chest pounding...then the heart monitor starts beeping and the raptors head snaps over....
I just want to say that the clip of the T-Rex and lion roaring at each other was a stroke of dramatic genius especially because the T-Rex sound effects actually use lion sounds. Perfect unifying of the fantasy T-Rex with its modern real life counterpart
YES! A comic or graphic novel with these concepts would be awesome! Why Universal hasn't done that to continue the franchise aside from films is beyond me.

In my personal opinion, Dominion was an okay film, but the idea of dinosaurs wreacking havoc on the modern-day ecosystem would have been better, I think that this idea is what Micheal Crichton would have wanted to see on the bug screen.
I really wanted the franchise would have turned from an adventure franchise to an apocoliptic franchise. I too wanted more horror out of JP in the first place then another adventure film

We need a "Walking Dead" style Jurassic Park film or show. I really, REALLY wish they had gone with the whole "Oh shit, dinosaurs are now killing all the modern day creatures because the ecosystems and current predators are literally no match!", and they just end up breeding out of control, leaving us and them. The route they took it in was just so disappointing, especially when the franchise was based on being an actual sci-fi horror film. They sold out to make more money and gets kids and toys more involved.

The problem with the movies is that they’re still playing it safe for younger audiences. The first movie wasn’t for kids (we still watched it), but the execs saw that the toys and merch was a gold mine. So all the following movies ended up being feature length commercials.
I'm convinced that part of the reason why so many ideas were abandoned was due to the pandemic. If they would have had more time, I'm sure we would have gotten a different movie. I still stand by the notion that the locusts were the way to get Grant and Satler to the dinosaur facility. There's NO WAY Grant would have been down to go on yet another excursion to KILLER DINOSAUR ISLAND if his only motivation was to see more dinosaurs. That would have been the third time in a row for him to have been sucked into doing something ridiculously dangerous and just plain insufferable. So, they need another way to get him there. But, everything else EXCEPT the Malta scene had potential that wasn't achieved. I thought thur Malta scene was fantastic! But, yeah, those are my thoughts on the matter.
If ANYONE’S WILLING TO BELIEVE THIS, Colin has publicly stated that the entire extended cut of Dominion is what HE ALWAYS wanted to create and will be proud of it until the end of time. He also went on record that he officially trusted his own direction going into the “FINAL” movie. Whether or not anything was supposed to change, there’s no doubt that everyone in the production wanted to go down this path during the 2 years of development.

I’ve actually thought about how I would rewrite Dominion myself and I’m curious if your version would end up being pretty close to what I envisioned. Mine basically involves the prologue still being a part of the movie with it being much more paleontologically accurate but still having the Giganotosaurus within in it, and is still meant to set up Rexy’s rivalry with the Giga, the overall plot revolves around dinosaurs and their effects on the overall world since they’re now all loose, Biosyn and Luis Dodgson are still a major factor of the plot, we still get Owen Grady, Claire, and Maisie meeting with Alan Grant, Ellie Sattler, and Ian Malcolm, but we also get more dinosaur related scenes in the movie and the Giga actually kills humans in the movie and actually feels like the main dinosaur antagonist this time, and with Luis Dodgson still being the main human antagonist. Species wise the following would be in my movie, but not counting modern animals: 1. T. Rex (4 variants) 2. Velociraptor (several variants) 3. Dilophosaurus 4. Brachiosaurus 5. Parasaurolophus 6. These darker ideas and concepts are awesome and I truly wish we got these on the big screen, instead of damn bugs. I’m definitely gonna use these in my fan story/version of dinosaurs taking “dominion” over our modern world. I’m completely with you on this man. I love these concepts!
This is honestly all I want. Another movie of just this. No real plot, no real main characters. Just an anthology movie of random dinosaur encounters after they all got set loose. Doesn't all have to be scary, can be quieter moments, but this is what I really wanted from Dominion.
If it's one thing that was not really capitalized on sadly but should've been honestly, it's the concept of a Jurassic Park movie where we have some Dinosaurs at some part of Central or South America with a horror/slasher movie feel to it, since JP1 did have some of that same vibe in the film and this idea would truly mesh well with that, along with some of the Novel material as well. We could've had something like a cartel organization in the Central or South Americas smuggling Dinosaurs off the island for profit with that somehow backfiring on them when the Dinosaurs get loose, or we could've had a spree of Dinosaur attacks within a city or town resulting in a lot of destruction and mayhem.
I agree, Jurassic needs to be dark again, put the fear of dinosaurs into people. Although thinking back on it, maybe the Jurassic Park 3 Barney scene wasn't a funny contrast but instead a glimpse of the franchise's future?
This concepts are so good because they follow the logic of The Lost World, movie and games, they look so edge and 90s stuff. For "modern audiences" ideas like this is too much to deal... Imagine an alt intro for Dominon where a Family is outside camping(camcorder POV)and then they hear. *Thud* *Thud* Rexy walking towards them. They all hide in a tent and she's there, her silhouette creeping over them. (Similar to lost world) The daughter screams and Rexy attacks. The cam freezes with Rexy's jaws wide open above them the last thing we hear is there screams. Now that would've been dope.

This whole videos tone was so nice, idk how to put it. Hearing talking like it's a normal conversation you have with your friends about things you're all interested in. Dude is the homie you have convos with on xbox at 1am.
i'm betting they tamed everything down cuz of the first movie where the lady got toyed with the pterodactyls and then eaten by the mosasaur. cuz a lot of people complained 'it was too cruel! she didn't deserve that!" and that was everywhere. so studios were probably like, 'we gotta tone stuff down for the babies or they'll cry'. i'm betting that's what it was
The sense I get is they had all these neat images of what the dinosaurs were doing, but then someone asked, "well, what's the story about?" And they realized all they had were disconnected shots. And with hybrid dinos off the table, they thought, "hybrid bugs?" And went with that. But they could have just done an anthology film like Pulp Fiction with different vignettes instead of an overarching plot. Highlight the chaos theory aspect of how this world is negatively affected and positively affected. Instead of being a film that goes from good to bad start with disasters, running and screaming and end with this coexistence, a proof of how "life finds a way."
Correction: It's even worse. At least JP3 had a mostly solid 3rd act via the Pteranodon's and Spinosaurus boat attack scene. Dominion only had the Therizinosaurus and...that's it.
Dominion feels like it skipped a sequel. Perhaps the new animated series Chaos Theory will cover the four years in-between Fallen Kingdom and Dominion, and it will feature more material like this.
Dominion would have been fine if it wasn't for the bug plot. The whole sequences of dinosaurs being bought and sold on the black market would have been a pretty cool movie idea by itself.
It would’ve been better had Owen re-assumed his role in the Navy and he and his team had to take out the mosasaur. That in itself could be a stand alone movie.
Was hoping they'd let JA Bayona direct. Loved the way he told Fallen Kingdom. And I would still like to see him get hold of Lost World (the novel) and make that movie. I don't care where or if it fits into the timeline; I just want to see it.
Dominion is a product of the current era of Hollywood we live in now. We've lost good writing and subtlety and everything these days has to be an action comedy. Dominion felt more like Fast and Furious than JP
I never knew why they gave Colin so much credit and creative freedom. The guy is totally incapable of tone, story, characters. He absolutely blew it with this useless trilogy. It’s at least two more JP3s
im actually devastated with how dominion turned out. the amount of potential it had was insane. i really hope we get future dinosaur movies with elements of the concept arts shown in the video
If I lived in the Jurassic Park Universe and I was an avid outdoorsman and found out that Dinosaurs are just part of the worlds ecosystem now, I would immediately become an avid indoorsman. Or I'd just blow my brains out since the idea of there being a real world possibility of being eaten alive by a giant Utahraptor is a big nope from me bruh. Car breaks down along a long stretch of empty road, call up AAA and they say that they aren't coming to help you because you're in raptor country. And now you have two options. Stay in your car either starve to death or eventually get discovered by a pack of raptors and eaten, or go on foot in the hopes of finding some nearby gas station only to get to the station and realize you've been stalked since the moment you left your car. That kind of world is a big nope from me, man.
Jurassic ideas including contemporary animals (**choose which one jumps the shark and/or sounds more of a stretch and/or less possible**): a- A goat or cow used to feat carnivore dinosaurs. b- T-Rex ate a dog while lurking in a neighborhood c- Inside a zoo, different species of wild animals (carnivores and herbivores) surround a T-Rex and watch her eat a Giraffe.
these concepts looks terrifying! I wish they would've built in more suspens and seriousness to the last two movies but as a whole they just feel a bit silly. However as you mentioned, I do really like the first few minutes of Fallen Kingdom! They felt "jurassic" to me

Anyone remember that book from bookfair at school back in the day of "if dinosaurs were alive today" yeah that one where it had some of the walking with dinosaurs individuals on the pages with the trex chasing cattle yeah those were good times yep... Yeah that book had more to do with dinosaurs interacting with modern times than what dominion could ever do check it out it's good reading material...

Truly, this is what Dominion should've been; watching the introduction of the dinosaurs upset the ecosystem. It could've even have served as commentary on people who traffic exotic animals into the US carelessly and recklessly-upsetting the ecosystem.
I think the major reason the Jurassic World series has no teeth is because of merchandising. Kids love dinosaurs and parents hate scary movies. They wanted to make bank on kids buying up the toys while avoiding angry mothers complaining that the movies gave their kids nightmares. The 90s age of movies not made for kids getting successful toylines feels so far away now it may as well be another world.
Well kids are fascinated with dinosaurs so it wouldn't make sense they will also be the target audience not just for the adults you can't deny that the toys look amazing Mattel really hit it out the Park
Worse bad guys and bad dinosaurs make the heroes look better, it would have sold more toys. As the film would be better. A shit film = Poor merch sales
These unused concepts could easily start a Strong Series rivaling the likes of TWD or GoT. Also, the gaps between almost all the movies could be and should be filled. I'm forever a fan but you got some major points.

To clarify, I think it’d be really fun if they had a spinosaurus loose in the Everglades, eating all the Burmese, pythons and alligators and making a massive dent in the population of animals there. Having a slue of dinosaurs tearing up the ecosystem sounds like a better plot than Kellogg’s wanting to control the food😂
Also love to see a scene where finally the military gets involved and make it in a sad way to end Jurassic World, have the military just taking every last dinosaur out.
The world movies went more of the action route, leaving behind the suspense of the originals. It would be so cool to have seen the integration, and potential takeover, of dinos into our ecosystem. That concept leaves so much room for suspense, making the dinosaurs scary again

I believe the situation of Fallen Kingdom, with people complain about the stuff that had happened in that movie, is what changed the Dominion's overall tone and atmosphere. I loved everything about what Fallen Kingdom, from how dark and intense the events of the movie showed, and the unreasonable lashing out the critics gave it is most likely what affected the dark and serious tone that Dominion was going to have. But this is what I think. And it really just sucks shat has happen with this movie.
the ideas you cover in this would be good as a first person horror survival style game where you play a person/group of people tasked with hunting down, tracking and tagging/catching the dinosaurs. it could be set on the idea of the dino tracker website that was released as a promo for one of the Jurassic world movies
Dominion wasn’t awful. It just wasn’t up to our expectations. There were moments that did confuse me, but there were also parts that gave me goosebumps. I may be a bit bias though because I watched it on my birthday, which was also its release date!
Dominion could've explored the ecological consequences of bringing dinosaurs on the mainland instead of making it appear like Eden. The US already has its existing challenges maintaining mustangs without needing to deal with large herbivorous dinosaurs.
With how Fallen Kingdom ended, Dominion had so much potential. Instead we got locusts and discount Steve Jobs. “Um eventually you might have dinosaurs in your - in your dinosaur movie right? Hello? *knocks on glass* hello? *breathes on glass* yes?”
“Why” is what I think about when it comes to the third movie. You had a good set up. JP3 and the mystery there. Dr. Wu had no morals. Like - it was like rise of skywalker where “oh - you’re respecting the saber now?” Like why the switch up?
Universal could've borrowed some plot elements from the Planet of the Apes trilogy where people in the mainland defend themselves against the dinosaurs since they do pose a threat against them and that is what Jurassic Park is all about making them very threatening to humans.
Dominion was okayish, but it did leave me very disappointed. I wanted to see Humans VS Dinos, cities having to build walls just to protect themselves, and people trying to survive at any cost. Instead we got something that strayed from the original ideas and lessons of the first film and novel. Instead of a dark horror film where humanity has to pay the price for bringing back dinos. Dominion was a weird film that had jurassic park like elements, but mostly had and ended with a Dinotopia message about peace and harmony and existing together as one. Plus i wanted to see a bigger badder genetic hybrid monster, instead i got a stupid locust. 😥
My Dominion would focus on different areas around the manor. Areas trying to deal with lock downs similar to early covid. People only going out at their own risks of running into a Rex or a Raptor. A scared Triceratops might ram a person on their way to work. Something focusing on that area. Have news clips playing of found footage encounters and attacks.
I’m don’t think they had an actual writer for Diminion, it was just the corporate producers at Universal asking themselves how to fit all the characters back into one film-completely ignoring all of the things we’ve talked about adnauseum.
In my opinion, I think because of the unexpected COVID-19 Pandemic that occurred back in 2020, could the Script + Storyline of Dominion was altered so much for the sake of Health & Safety, that the movie we eventually got to see in theaters was the most legal and the only version of Dominion they can work with?... I mean if Dominion would've been a darker and more dangerous story. The Whole Production Team have to get more physical and have to do more Dinosaur CGI or Dinosaur Animatronic Work, which is not ideal given the Circumstances of the Pandemic and it's worth mentioning that they already have a strict and very tight deadline already, in terms of probably Hollywood and maybe Marketing/Entertainment policies. So this could be the reason why we didn't get the JW Dominion we really wanted, but idk that's just my opinion.
I agree 100%. That is exactly what I was expecting from Dominion and although I enjoyed the film, it was disappointing that we didn't get what the previous film promised.
Seems like the reason they couldn’t put these type of scenes in dominion was because there was nothing there that was an Easter egg or a callback to the first film

That's actually the Indoraptor in Maisie's room. The imagery of a raptor in a hospital is nightmarish though. Especially if the power goes out.

This is why I like the Carnosaur novel so much. It does this concept and I hope we get a faithful adaptation someday!

Mine basically involves the prologue still being a part of the movie with it being much more paleontologically accurate but still having the Giganotosaurus within in it, and is still meant to set up Rexy’s rivalry with the Giga, the overall plot revolves around dinosaurs and their effects on the overall world since they’re now all loose, Biosyn and Luis Dodgson are still a major factor of the plot, we still get Owen Grady, Claire, and Maisie meeting with Alan Grant, Ellie Sattler, and Ian Malcolm, but we also get more dinosaur related scenes in the movie and the Giga actually kills humans in the movie and actually feels like the main dinosaur antagonist this time, and with Luis Dodgson still being the main human antagonist.
Species wise the following would be in my movie, but not counting modern animals:

Plus I would’ve released it in June 2023, just in time for Jurassic Parks 30th anniversary, it’d be fitting for the movie to have 30 species for the 30th anniversary, and I’d also make the movie 3 hours long and say this is the last Jurassic Movie because it was always planned for there to be 6 Jurassic movies since the very beginning. Anything after that should be tv series, video games, or even possible reboots, etc.

These darker ideas and concepts are awesome and I truly wish we got these on the big screen, instead of damn bugs. I’m definitely gonna use these in my fan story/version of dinosaurs taking “dominion” over our modern world. I’m completely with you on this man. I love these concepts!
This is honestly all I want. Another movie of just this. No real plot, no real main characters. Just an anthology movie of random dinosaur encounters after they all got set loose. Doesn't all have to be scary, can be quieter moments, but this is what I really wanted from Dominion.
How would they get a bunch of dinosaurs in the mainland after TLW? I guess Ludlow would have to survive?
If it's one thing that was not really capitalized on sadly but should've been honestly, it's the concept of a Jurassic Park movie where we have some Dinosaurs at some part of Central or South America with a horror/slasher movie feel to it, since JP1 did have some of that same vibe in the film and this idea would truly mesh well with that, along with some of the Novel material as well.
We could've had something like a cartel organization in the Central or South Americas smuggling Dinosaurs off the island for profit with that somehow backfiring on them when the Dinosaurs get loose, or we could've had a spree of Dinosaur attacks within a city or town resulting in a lot of destruction and mayhem.
100% would love to see a movie like this, heck, get more shorts like Battle at Big Rock with these ideas!
I agree, Jurassic needs to be dark again, put the fear of dinosaurs into people. Although thinking back on it, maybe the Jurassic Park 3 Barney scene wasn't a funny contrast but instead a glimpse of the franchise's future?
This concepts are so good because they follow the logic of The Lost World, movie and games, they look so edge and 90s stuff. For "modern audiences" ideas like this is too much to deal...

Imagine an alt intro for Dominon where a Family is outside camping(camcorder POV)and then they hear. *Thud* *Thud* Rexy walking towards them. They all hide in a tent and she's there, her silhouette creeping over them. (Similar to lost world) The daughter screams and Rexy attacks. The cam freezes with Rexy's jaws wide open above them the last thing we hear is there screams.
Now that would've been dope.

i'm betting they tamed everything down cuz of the first movie where the lady got toyed with the pterodactyls and then eaten by the mosasaur. cuz a lot of people complained 'it was too cruel! she didn't deserve that!" and that was everywhere. so studios were probably like, 'we gotta tone stuff down for the babies or they'll cry'. i'm betting that's what it was
That dinosaur in LA concept looks awesome! So does the bear being chased by the T-Rex, wish they would have gone in this direction with Dominion
The sense I get is they had all these neat images of what the dinosaurs were doing, but then someone asked, "well, what's the story about?" And they realized all they had were disconnected shots. And with hybrid dinos off the table, they thought, "hybrid bugs?" And went with that.
But they could have just done an anthology film like Pulp Fiction with different vignettes instead of an overarching plot. Highlight the chaos theory aspect of how this world is negatively affected and positively affected. Instead of being a film that goes from good to bad start with disasters, running and screaming and end with this coexistence, a proof of how "life finds a way."
Dominion has become the new JP3
Correction: It's even worse. At least JP3 had a mostly solid 3rd act via the Pteranodon's and Spinosaurus boat attack scene. Dominion only had the Therizinosaurus and...that's it.
Dominion feels like it skipped a sequel. Perhaps the new animated series Chaos Theory will cover the four years in-between Fallen Kingdom and Dominion, and it will feature more material like this.
Dominion would have been fine if it wasn't for the bug plot. The whole sequences of dinosaurs being bought and sold on the black market would have been a pretty cool movie idea by itself.

It would’ve been better had Owen re-assumed his role in the Navy and he and his team had to take out the mosasaur. That in itself could be a stand alone movie.
Was hoping they'd let JA Bayona direct. Loved the way he told Fallen Kingdom. And I would still like to see him get hold of Lost World (the novel) and make that movie. I don't care where or if it fits into the timeline; I just want to see it.

Dominion is a product of the current era of Hollywood we live in now. We've lost good writing and subtlety and everything these days has to be an action comedy. Dominion felt more like Fast and Furious than JP

im actually devastated with how dominion turned out. the amount of potential it had was insane. i really hope we get future dinosaur movies with elements of the concept arts shown in the video
If I lived in the Jurassic Park Universe and I was an avid outdoorsman and found out that Dinosaurs are just part of the worlds ecosystem now, I would immediately become an avid indoorsman. Or I'd just blow my brains out since the idea of there being a real world possibility of being eaten alive by a giant Utahraptor is a big nope from me bruh. Car breaks down along a long stretch of empty road, call up AAA and they say that they aren't coming to help you because you're in raptor country. And now you have two options. Stay in your car either starve to death or eventually get discovered by a pack of raptors and eaten, or go on foot in the hopes of finding some nearby gas station only to get to the station and realize you've been stalked since the moment you left your car. That kind of world is a big nope from me, man.
These concept pieces are extremely cool
Jurassic ideas including contemporary animals (**choose which one jumps the shark and/or sounds more of a stretch and/or less possible**):
a- A goat or cow used to feat carnivore dinosaurs.
b- T-Rex ate a dog while lurking in a neighborhood
c- Inside a zoo, different species of wild animals (carnivores and herbivores) surround a T-Rex and watch her eat a Giraffe.
these concepts looks terrifying! I wish they would've built in more suspens and seriousness to the last two movies but as a whole they just feel a bit silly. However as you mentioned, I do really like the first few minutes of Fallen Kingdom! They felt "jurassic" to me

Anyone remember that book from bookfair at school back in the day of "if dinosaurs were alive today" yeah that one where it had some of the walking with dinosaurs individuals on the pages with the trex chasing cattle yeah those were good times yep... Yeah that book had more to do with dinosaurs interacting with modern times than what dominion could ever do check it out it's good reading material...
I still can't comprehend why they would build up one thing, and advertise nothing but that one thing, only to treat it like it doesn't matter in the final product.

Truly, this is what Dominion should've been; watching the introduction of the dinosaurs upset the ecosystem. It could've even have served as commentary on people who traffic exotic animals into the US carelessly and recklessly-upsetting the ecosystem.
I think the major reason the Jurassic World series has no teeth is because of merchandising. Kids love dinosaurs and parents hate scary movies. They wanted to make bank on kids buying up the toys while avoiding angry mothers complaining that the movies gave their kids nightmares.
The 90s age of movies not made for kids getting successful toylines feels so far away now it may as well be another world.
Well kids are fascinated with dinosaurs so it wouldn't make sense they will also be the target audience not just for the adults you can't deny that the toys look amazing Mattel really hit it out the Park
Worse bad guys and bad dinosaurs make the heroes look better, it would have sold more toys. As the film would be better.

These unused concepts could easily start a Strong Series rivaling the likes of TWD or GoT. Also, the gaps between almost all the movies could be and should be filled. I'm forever a fan but you got some major points.

@@animezilla4486 not at all. I really enjoyed the aspect of having a whole black market trade for dinosaurs. To clarify, I think it’d be really fun if they had a spinosaurus loose in the Everglades, eating all the Burmese, pythons and alligators and making a massive dent in the population of animals there. Having a slue of dinosaurs tearing up the ecosystem sounds like a better plot than Kellogg’s wanting to control the food😂

The world movies went more of the action route, leaving behind the suspense of the originals. It would be so cool to have seen the integration, and potential takeover, of dinos into our ecosystem. That concept leaves so much room for suspense, making the dinosaurs scary again

I believe the situation of Fallen Kingdom, with people complain about the stuff that had happened in that movie, is what changed the Dominion's overall tone and atmosphere.
I loved everything about what Fallen Kingdom, from how dark and intense the events of the movie showed, and the unreasonable lashing out the critics gave it is most likely what affected the dark and serious tone that Dominion was going to have.
But this is what I think. And it really just sucks shat has happen with this movie.
the ideas you cover in this would be good as a first person horror survival style game where you play a person/group of people tasked with hunting down, tracking and tagging/catching the dinosaurs. it could be set on the idea of the dino tracker website that was released as a promo for one of the Jurassic world movies
Dominion wasn’t awful. It just wasn’t up to our expectations. There were moments that did confuse me, but there were also parts that gave me goosebumps. I may be a bit bias though because I watched it on my birthday, which was also its release date!

Most ppl's expectations were pretty low after Fallen Kingdom, so the fact that Dominion didn't even live up to them is really saying something.
Dominion could've explored the ecological consequences of bringing dinosaurs on the mainland instead of making it appear like Eden. The US already has its existing challenges maintaining mustangs without needing to deal with large herbivorous dinosaurs.
With how Fallen Kingdom ended, Dominion had so much potential. Instead we got locusts and discount Steve Jobs. “Um eventually you might have dinosaurs in your - in your dinosaur movie right? Hello? *knocks on glass* hello? *breathes on glass* yes?”
This would’ve been way better than what we got. Also, I have a recommendation for a book it’s called raptor.

“Why” is what I think about when it comes to the third movie. You had a good set up. JP3 and the mystery there. Dr. Wu had no morals. Like - it was like rise of skywalker where “oh - you’re respecting the saber now?” Like why the switch up?
Universal could've borrowed some plot elements from the Planet of the Apes trilogy where people in the mainland defend themselves against the dinosaurs since they do pose a threat against them and that is what Jurassic Park is all about making them very threatening to humans.
Dominion was okayish, but it did leave me very disappointed. I wanted to see Humans VS Dinos, cities having to build walls just to protect themselves, and people trying to survive at any cost. Instead we got something that strayed from the original ideas and lessons of the first film and novel. Instead of a dark horror film where humanity has to pay the price for bringing back dinos. Dominion was a weird film that had jurassic park like elements, but mostly had and ended with a Dinotopia message about peace and harmony and existing together as one. Plus i wanted to see a bigger badder genetic hybrid monster, instead i got a stupid locust. 😥
My Dominion would focus on different areas around the manor. Areas trying to deal with lock downs similar to early covid. People only going out at their own risks of running into a Rex or a Raptor. A scared Triceratops might ram a person on their way to work. Something focusing on that area. Have news clips playing of found footage encounters and attacks.

I’m don’t think they had an actual writer for Diminion, it was just the corporate producers at Universal asking themselves how to fit all the characters back into one film-completely ignoring all of the things we’ve talked about adnauseum.
In my opinion, I think because of the unexpected COVID-19 Pandemic that occurred back in 2020, could the Script + Storyline of Dominion was altered so much for the sake of Health & Safety, that the movie we eventually got to see in theaters was the most legal and the only version of Dominion they can work with?...
I mean if Dominion would've been a darker and more dangerous story. The Whole Production Team have to get more physical and have to do more Dinosaur CGI or Dinosaur Animatronic Work, which is not ideal given the Circumstances of the Pandemic and it's worth mentioning that they already have a strict and very tight deadline already, in terms of probably Hollywood and maybe Marketing/Entertainment policies.
So this could be the reason why we didn't get the JW Dominion we really wanted, but idk that's just my opinion.
