The problem with me is yeah ok I can do 25 minutes of making notes/revising but after that 5 minutes break I just can't be bothered to go study again, that's why I try to do al my revision in ony big chunk. I know that's not reccomended, but breaks for me immediately turn my brain off xD
I just sincerely wanted to say thank you for all the hard work that you put into your videos. many students like me have just completed our GCSEs and if it wasn’t for you then well we would not have gone to this stage. We really appreciate you and your videos and the sheer dedication in your videos miss. Thank you :)
Exactly a WHOLE YEAR LATER and I'm here just about to sit my GCSE'S 2019! I find it so hard to revise, constantly getting distracted! I'm aiming for all 7's and above hopefully, but still haven't started proper revision. Do you think I will be able to do it? Xx
you can do it! remember there are only 2 months left before all these exams are over. make the most of your time now, and think of all the reasons you want to get the grades you're aiming for. keep going!!
Hi Amy, I know how you are feeling, this time of year is awful for everyone, teachers, and parents included! You must remember that the grades you come out with, are important, but not the most important thing about you. You have so much worth and value that isn't based on your grades. Try looking at these for more advice... th-cam.com/video/fgq4cTtJVnY/w-d-xo.html and th-cam.com/video/XsZJaCVx414/w-d-xo.html Make sure you are looking after yourself, getting enough sleep, eating correctly, taking breaks, making time for what is important to you. Work in small chunks, 25 minutes study and then take a short break, plan your revision, so you don't miss anything out and be active in you revision don't; just read notes!
This is actually useful, but there are so many topics per subject that is almost impossible to take a break of at least 10 minutes. But I’ll try because I’m doing year 11 and I’m trying to get the best grades. Another good trick is to talk with teachers about the subject and along the conversation you might find answers. That’s what I’ve done to get an 8 in biology higher paper (mock exam)
I don’t think it is very good advice to make notes at this point, as there is not enough time to get through everything and some things will inevitably be missed out
Wow this is great. I always wondered how to actually study properly to get something out of it that you can apply. Thank you for showing what you should actually be doing in an hour. I never thought of testing myself but studies have shown that’s the best way. I wonder if you could help me to show how to make notes or do a video on it. Such as when you read your book how do you know what to write or what not to write or pick info. Thank you
Hahaha, exams had me so stressed that I started to do eight hours of studying (at home, not school). It actually got to the point where I started waking up at 5:00 am and studying until it was time to go to school, then came back from school and pretty much studied until 12:00 am with only an hour break (which I used to exercise). Overall, I've spent 67% (33% excluding school) of the past three months on preparation for the exam, so yeah, exams *S* *U* *C* *K* . But good luck to everyone, just 2 more days until chemistry...
Aiming for grade 7 and above in everything I am fairly confident will come back for gcse results. Currently: grade 5 in maths and grade 5 in English the rest is 7 and above.
Basically this is me. I revise for aggeees but then my brain tells me that I need a break for the exact same amount of time which is crazy so yeah I end up wasting a lot of time like now I'm suppose to be revising, however this video didn't waste time and I actually can't wait to start this technique!
I'm not very great at science but because of my grades in other subjects I'm doing higher science, I've got biology and chemistry and physics GCSE coming up in 2 weeks and I've been watching your videos recently I really want to pass this. With this little time will I be able to get top grades by watching your videos? And do you have any memory tips?

Hi Brad, you should have automatically received two e-mails, the second one from Fetch contains a download link. You can just click on this link and the pdf should start to be download automatically.
The advantage to downloading it from Fetch, is that you will be automatically updated if I need to make any changes to the document.
If you can’t find the second e-mail, try checking your spam folder, or searching your inbox. If you think you’ve deleted it by mistake or can’t find the email, please get back in contact with me.
Really good video, thanks a bunch. Also what kind of tea was that?😂

Whilst making notes are we allowed to listen to music or is that not recommended?
Every time I revise nothing goes in, any advice? As I have a bad memory
how would this work if i used your book, i have the aqa gcse combined science higher book, how should i split up my time with that one?
Does anyone have any tips if you have a very short attention span or struggle to stay still
